1 Timothy 1:17

All honor and glory to God forever and ever! He is the eternal King, the unseen one who never dies; He alone is God. Amen.
1 Timothy 1:17

Good Morning Yahweh,
You are the Great I AM, the Mighty One, the Creator of the Universe and all it holds. I bow before You with all that I am and give my life to You.

In all I do, I want the honor and glory to be given to You. You are forever and always, You will never die, You will never forsake me, You alone are God.

You are the unseen One, but for those who You call to be Your child, we can know You, really know You. We see dimly now, but there will be the day that I will see You as clearly as You see me now.
You are my Shelter, Refuge and eternal King, and I love You!
Amen

Hebrews 11:5

It was by faith that Enoch was taken up to heaven without dying—“he disappeared, because God took him.” For before he was taken up, he was known as a person who pleased God.
Hebrews 11:5

Good Morning Abba,
I just love being able to talk to You and ask the hard questions of my life. I know that You have nothing but the best in store for me and that sometimes the answers are long in coming. But, it’s still good to visit with You.

You have given us such encouragement with the people in Your Word and their stories. Enoch was just take by You, up to heaven, without dying. What a miracle that was.

But, what I love in this verse is, before he was taken up, he was known as a person who pleased God. You took delight in Him!

You make me think about myself this morning. Father, do I please You? I sure hope so, but I also know I make poor choices, turn a different way from Your leading, and cause You heartache. Did Enoch ever hurt You? Did he make some bad choices?

I know living on this side of the cross, I stand beside Your Son and through His power, I am made clean. My bad choices are washed away. He has given me hope that I may stand before You and be known as a child who pleases You.
Thank You for being my God!
Amen

Romans 10:14

But how can they call on Him to save them unless they believe in Him? And how can they believe in Him if they have never heard about Him? And how can they hear about Him unless someone tells them?
Romans 10:14

Good Morning Jesus!
You Jesus, are the King of my life and I adore You. You are so precious to me and I thank You for calling me to be Your child and to be with You this morning.

Your Word this morning really jumped out at me. It’s exciting and scary at the same time. You are asking me to be Your voice in this world and I’m not sure I know how!

I know I have confessed that I am a sinner and can’t do anything without Your presence in my life. I know You are the Son of God. But, then I think, how do I know all this?

It’s because someone in my life told me about You. They spoke Your Word and I heard and made the choice to follow You.

Jesus, I hear You calling me to tell someone about You, but I’m scared. What do I say? When do I say it?
What if they don’t listen?

All that doesn’t matter if I let You do the talking. I will trust You today to speak through me. Help me to remember that this isn’t about me, it’s all about You. I want to be a blessing to You as I proclaim Your love those you place in my presence today.
Thank You so much Jesus for being my strength today!
Amen

Habakkuk 3:18-19

Yet I will rejoice in the Lord! I will be joyful in the God of my salvation! The Sovereign Lord is my strength! He makes me as surefooted as a deer, able to tread upon the heights.
Habakkuk 3:18-19

Good Morning My Savior!
Thank You for the beauty of the sunrise today. You know how to paint a picture and I am so blessed to be able to see it. I thank You for my sight and to be able to see what You have created. I thank You for my hearing, that I can listen to the birds sing and children play. I thank You most of all for coming into my life so I can see Your beauty.

Things are kind of bumpy right now, LORD. I think I’ve just got it all under control and guess what? I don’t. But, while things seem difficult, I will continue to sing my joy and love for You to anyone who will listen. You are my God and have gifted me with salvation and life! You have blessed me beyond my wildest dreams and I want to proclaim Your goodness and love to the world I live in.

And when things get rocky, I will know that You are making me surefooted to keep going. I know that doesn’t mean it will always be smooth sailing, but You will keep me from slipping.

How wonderful to be with You this morning, Jesus. I don’t want to leave You here now, come with me as I go about my day. Remind me to talk to You about everything. And when evening comes, remind me please, to tell You how my day went. You are my love!
Amen

Psalm 22:30-31

Our children will also serve Him. Future generations will hear about the wonders of the Lord. His righteous acts will be told to those not yet born. They will hear about everything He has done.
Psalm 22:30-31

Good Morning My King!
What a lovely day and to know that You have created it just makes it all the more special! Your love and faithfulness shines bright in nature and the seasons.

I want to tell everyone about all You have done for me. Your gracious presence has sustained me through the dark hours of my life and Your amazing blessings have made my soul soar.

You have given me the responsibility and opportunity to tell my children and grandchildren about Your mighty works. Not only what is in Your Word, but what You have done in me. Help me please, to carry on this tradition. Help me to understand how important it is to You, that I tell of Your deeds.

Your Word is living and righteous for all generations to come. I will trust You to take care of the seeds that I plant. I know You will tend and love them. You will cherish each one, all for Your glory.
I love You!
Amen

1 John 4:10

This is real love—not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins.
1 John 4:10

Good Morning My King!
I just love how creative You are with Your sunrises. One morning can be so gentle with the colors and the next vivid with reds and oranges. You must have so much fun deciding which one to do each morning. I’m so sorry many of us are so busy to notice or even give You the glory for the beauty. But this morning, I thank You!

Jesus, I am so unworthy of Your love. I didn’t even know You when You chose to die in my place. I should have had the beating, the whipping, the pain. Yet, You saw me, thousands of years ago, and loved me so much, You took my place. I cannot comprehend Your love, I am so humbled that You love me so passionately.

I want to live my life to glorify You. I want others to know that You love them just as much. Prepare me to share Your life with others. Give me Your words and actions, so they will know it’s You and not me. Jesus, I ask that You will shape me into a good reflection of You.
Amen

2 Corinthians 3:13-17

We are not like Moses, who put a veil over his face so the people of Israel would not see the glory, even though it was destined to fade away. But the people’s minds were hardened, and to this day whenever the old covenant is being read, the same veil covers their minds so they cannot understand the truth. And this veil can be removed only by believing in Christ. Yes, even today when they read Moses’ writings, their hearts are covered with that veil, and they do not understand. But whenever someone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away.
2 Corinthians 3:13-17

Good Morning Yahweh,
I love to be in Your Word each day. You are bringing it to life in a way that only You can. You are giving me more understanding each day and I take such joy in just being with You.

I love the story of Moses and his face radiating after he had been with You. You had changed him and it was visible. But, the people were afraid because they themselves had not encountered You. They just didn’t understand.

It’s still the same way today. People just can’t understand Your Word because they have never claimed Your Son as the Christ. They have the veil on and can’t see Your Word clearly. How sad.

You have called me to be Your shining light in my part of this world. You have taken away the veil that can confuse me and poured Your Spirit into my life. You have called me to love others as You have loved me.

I can’t do this alone, I need You, Spirit. For it is You that will shine, You give me the understanding I have, and the love, to give to love the unloved.
I want to live my life for You, my LORD, in every area of my life!
Amen

Matthew 28:18-20

Jesus came and told His disciples, “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I AM with you always, even to the end of the age.”
Matthew 28:18-20

Good Morning Jesus,
Thank You for the time You spend with me each morning. I give praise to You, the Creator and Sustainer of the Universe, who takes time to sit with me, so I can get to know You. You are my God and I love You!

Discipleship. What a scary term Jesus. To discipleship someone, I first have to become a disciple. You know I love sitting with You, studying Your scriptures and even sharing Your wisdom with a few people. But, to go out and really get busy with discipling others? I think You must have been thinking of someone else instead of me.

As I read Your Word this morning I realize You weren’t thinking of someone else, it’s what You have called me to be and to do. I may not be the next Billy Graham, but You have asked me to disciple my family, my friends, those who I come in contact with each day. You are asking me to just tell someone about Your amazing love and grace. You are asking me to be Your voice in my corner of the world.

I don’t have to have a Phd to disciple Your people. I just have to be obedient to Your call. What I need to remember is, as I step out in faith to speak Your Words, is that I will not be alone. You will be with me forever.
Amen

Genesis 5:22

After the birth of Methuselah, Enoch lived in close fellowship with God for another 300 years, and he had other sons and daughters.
Genesis 5:22

Good Morning My Majestic LORD!
What a beautiful sunrise today! I praise You for nudging me out of my warm bed in time to see it with You. You are the greatest artist with the colors You use in the sky. It was breathtaking!

Your Word this morning is also wonderful. Father, how I would love to be notated in Your Book of Life, next to my name, that I live in close fellowship with You throughout my life. I praise You for telling me about Enoch and Noah and so many others, giving me the encouragement to stay with You and the passion to even get closer as I live. You are the breath I draw on, the wisdom I depend on and the love that makes my soul soar. What more in life do I need?

Help me today to see in Your Word something new and exciting. Help me to read and study with the anticipation of learning. Help me to have the courage and right words to share what I have found with someone in need of Your hope. Oh, how I love You my LORD!
Amen

Ephesians 3:18-19

And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep His love is. May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God.
Ephesians 3:18-19

Morning Jesus!
Oh my goodness, how wonderful You are to me. You have provided such a wonderful morning and have come to spend time with me! I am so honored that the King of the Universe would find me worthy. I love You so very much!

Jesus, I know Your love for me is amazingly faithful. I would have given up on me along ago, yet, You have always been knocking and asking me to be Your child. I want so much to live in a close fellowship with You. I want to know of Your wonder and majesty. Today, please keep me close by Your side.

Thank You so much for Your Word. It makes me stop and think of Your love and how much You desire to be with me. I know if I sit longer with You each day, I will come to understand Your love and the completeness it brings to my life.

Help me to think on this today. To soak in Your love, enjoy Your presence all day long, and to remember that You want me to share Your love with others in my life. I want to understand the depth of Your love and to generously give it away. You are my great and might LORD and You are the passion of my life!
Amen
