Psalm 76:4

You are glorious and more majestic than the everlasting mountains.
Psalm 76:4

Good Morning My Wonderful King!
Thank You for this morning, that I can spend some time with You and not feel rushed. It seems the past few weeks have been a blur and I’ve barely stopped to look at Your Word, let alone Your glory of each day. Please forgive and thank You again for slowing me down. Life can get so out of control if I don’t seek You each day.

In my minds eye, I can see the glory of the mountains that You have created. I think about the mighty Rocky Mountains where I grew up. I see the great mountain ranges of Europe that I have seen in movies.  I stand in awe at the mighty volcano mountains I’ve seen on T.V. They are all so powerful and big and beautiful.

Yet, Your Word tells me this morning that You are even more majestic and glorious. Earthly mountains will be washed away over the centuries, but You will remain forever.

All You have created is just a small part of Your beauty. You have delighted to give me Your creation to enjoy, please help me today Father, to see it with Your eyes and be awed.
You are my wonderful King and I adore You with my life!
Amen

Hebrews 13:8

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
Hebrews 13:8

Good Morning Jesus!
How wonderful You are to wake me each morning. It doesn’t matter if the sky is gray and cloudy or if I see the beauty of the sunrise. When I am able to be here with You, the warmth of Your love fills me. I am so content to be in Your presence.

Your Word this morning, Jesus, it’s just wonderful! In the simpleness of the verse is the power I can trust to build my life on. To know that You are the same today that You were 2,000 years ago gives me so much security. To know that Your Word is as good for me in this year, as it was to Your disciples when they heard it the first time, helps me to learn to trust You. Most of all to know that You will be exactly like You are now, forever and always, helps me face the future. You are my LORD, my foundation and stronghold. I want to always run to You with not only my hurts but my joys. I praise You for being the love of my life!
Amen

John 3:16

For God loved the world so much that He gave His one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life.

Good Morning My Love,
How special You are to care so much for me. You are what my life is all about. You are the love of my life!

Jesus, I find it hard sometimes to understand what You see in me. I always want to please You and bring You glory, but I’m so weak at times. I praise You for loving me so much, that You chose to give Your life as a ransom for mine.

Today is the day we have set aside to tell our loved ones how much we love them. I just wanted You to know, Jesus, that You are my sweetheart! I love You so much and want to love others today with Your love.

But, I don’t want to limit loving to today, LORD. I want everyone to know that You are my sweetheart every day of the year. You have romanced me and drawn me into Your Spirit and I am so grateful. What a wonderful thought that even when I’m done in this life, I’ll still have You in the neI ask that You will shine through me always.
I love You!
Amen

Leviticus 18:2-3

Give the following instructions to the people of Israel. I AM the Lord your God. So do not act like the people in Egypt, where you used to live, or like the people of Canaan, where I am taking you. You must not imitate their way of life.
Leviticus 18:2-3

Good Morning Father,
Even though we’re a ways off from spring, I want to praise You for the promise of it. The days are getting a bit warmer and the earth is starting to wake up. Thank You for being here with me this morning as we greet the day together.

You know me, Father. You know me inside and out. You have given me this scripture today to remind me to live for You. I often think today’s lifestyle is so hard to glorify You, yet, I guess it’s not all that much different from how Your people lived so many years ago. As they did, I am still having challenges to not live like this world does.

I’m bombarded with so much of the world’s thoughts, there are times I don’t know what to do. Then You come to me and remind me that Your Word is my lamp and shows me the direction I should take.

Help me today, Father, to live for You, to glorify You and not make compromises in my values. I want to be set apart for Your work, but I also don’t want to offend those I’m trying to show Your love to.

I get so confused, Father. How do I show them Your love without being haughty and arrogant? You just reminded me. I need to live like Jesus does. I need His power and compassion and strength. I realize that I have all I need to get the job done. All I have to do is ask.
Thank You for being my LORD!
Amen

Exodus 15:2

The Lord is my strength and my song; He has given me victory. This is my God, and I will praise Him—my father’s God, and I will exalt Him!
Exodus 15:2

Good Morning Abba,
I praise You for this morning. Even thought I’m not at a window right now, in my minds eye I can see Your creation coming awake. The birds are singing, the flowers are turning their faces to the sunrise and there is a breath of freshness in the air. All this happens to glorify You!

You are my strength. I could not even get out of bed without Your encouragement.

When things get difficult for me, You remind me that You have already claimed the victory, all I have to do is take hold of Your hand.

You are my God and I will praise You with all my being. I want to exult and lift Your name on high with every action today.

Father, You are my song, my life and the love that give me hope. How wonderfully good You are to me!
Amen

Romans 8:38-39

And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 8:38-39

Morning Jesus!
What a wonderful night’s rest You provided for me. Thank You for waking me with Your sunshine outside and Your Son’s love inside.

I want to praise You for Your Word this morning. I need to be reminded that You will never leave me. There are times I’m so insecure and scared. However, I am realizing that those thoughts are not from You.

As I walk through this life with You, I want to gain the passion Paul had when he said that he was convinced that nothing could ever separate him from You. My problem is I know how horrible I can be. I also know that Your grace is enough and I will claim Your scriptures when those thoughts interfere.

I thank You my King for a love so powerful it will withstand all my unworthiness. For a love so encompassing I will never be without it. For a love incomprehensible.
Amen

Zechariah 4:10

Do not despise these small beginnings, for the Lord rejoices to see the work begin, to see the plumb line in Zerubbabel’s hand.”
Zechariah 4:10

Good Morning Father,
It’s good to be with You this morning. I seem to have had a hard time getting here. I haven’t felt great and my mornings have just been out of sync. How wonderful You are to give me the encouragement to be here now. The delight of watching the world wake is always so peaceful to me. Thank You, my King.

Father, You know I get so discouraged with myself. I want to change the world for You, yet I stumble and fall. I bite off more than I can handle. I don’t know which way to turn. I beg You this morning to please show me Your way. Open my eyes and let me see the path I should take, help me to focus only on You and not what I think I should be doing.

As I pick up to start again today, Father, remind me that it may not be the big step I want, but the little step I need. I need to remember that just to be starting will give You great joy. Help me please, Abba, to just start.

I praise You for the peace and refreshment You have given me with Your Word. The plumb line in Zerubbabel’s hand was the very beginning of the rebuilding of Your Temple. It was to make sure the foundation was on solid, level ground. I will walk with You Spirit today, to make sure my foundation is on solid and level ground! I love You so very much!
Amen

Genesis 11:31-32

One day Terah took his son Abram, his daughter-in-law Sarai (his son Abram’s wife), and his grandson Lot (his son Haran’s child) and moved away from Ur of the Chaldeans. He was headed for the land of Canaan, but they stopped at Haran and settled there. Terah lived for 205 years and died while still in Haran.
Genesis 11:31–32

Morning Father,
What a glorious morning You have given me. Thank You so very much.

Your Word this morning gave me pause. Abram’s dad took his son, and family and headed out for Canaan. They arrived at Haran and settled in. It might have been for short while, to rest and regroup for the rest of the trip. Yet, for some reason, they stayed and never moved on. They were content with where they were.

So many times you have shown me the great plans You have for my life. I will start to head toward them, but then get content with what I’m doing and decided to settle in. Like Terah, I miss the big adventure You set me on and let the grass grow under my feet. Please forgive me, LORD.

You are so extremely faithful and I praise You for not giving up on me. Help me today to move toward what You have created me to be. Give me strength to just put one foot in front of the other. And as I journey with You, I will give You glory for just being my LORD and Love!
Amen

1 Corinthians 1:9

God will do this, for He is faithful to do what He says, and He has invited you into partnership with His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
1 Corinthians 1:9

Good Morning Father,
Oh my goodness! You are so amazingly wonderful, my heart wants to explode with joy this morning. My first thought was of You. I was encouraged to get out of a warm bed and come to You in our private place and know Your presence. You have opened my eyes in Your Word and I am awed with the out pouring of Your love on me.

I love You Father!

Your faithfulness to me is unexplainable. I am so undeserving of it, yet, I am so grateful You haven’t given up on me. You are constantly calling me to come, holding out Your arms so I can snuggle in. How could I not come?

Yet, this morning I’m reminded again that You have invited me to be a partner with Your Son! I’m not just a hired servant, I’m His partner! You have asked me to do my life with the Messiah! How could I not accept this invitation?

But, there are many times through the day, LORD, that I do reject You. I don’t want You to see where I’m going, my actions towards someone else, or even what I am thinking. Please forgive, help me to open up all the areas of my life so I will be a good and faithful partner. I want others to know of this relationship I have with You!
Amen

God has united you with Christ Jesus. For our benefit God made Him to be wisdom itself. Christ made us right with God; He made us pure and holy, and He freed us from sin.
1Corinthians 1:30

Good Morning Yahweh,
What a delight to wake with You. I love it when my first thoughts are of You and not of what is facing me for the day. You are so peaceful and wonderful, I love You!

It seems I am so often amazed when I read Your Word, and realize what all You’ve done so I can just be with You. You have united me with Christ Jesus, You have blessed me with His wisdom, You have made me right through Him. What amazes me even more is the fact that You have made me pure and holy. Those are two words don’t always seem to fit with me, yet You proclaimed this to me today.

Help me, Spirit, to live into Your great gifts. Help me to produce the fruit that You know I can do. Help me to walk close with You today.
Oh, how I love You!
Amen
