The one thing I ask of the Lord—the thing I seek most—is to live in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, delighting in the Lord’s perfections and meditating in His Temple. Psalm 27:4

Good Morning My Savior,
I praise You for this day. You have created it and I want to rejoice and be glad. I want to notice my surroundings today and see what I never have noticed before. I want to be awed as I see Your work in this world.

Jesus, I do so enjoy being with You. Reading and studying Your scriptures. Letting You give me new insights and thoughts. To realize that Your book is all about You and how You work through ordinary people to make the world understand how much You love them.

Help me, Jesus, to always be excited to spend this special time with You. Please continue to fan the flame of passion in me. I want to be learning from Your Word, to take what I learn and begin to live it. I know sometimes it will be scary to take that step, I need You to give me courage and to remind me not worry about what others might think of me as I live for You.
You are my LORD and I do adore You. Thank You for letting me walk with You today!

Good Morning Jesus!
I just love waking up with You each day. You give purpose to my life as nothing else can. You pour Your joy and love into me and there are moments I just want to burst with the anticipation of living for You!

I am so blessed that You are my guide in this life, Jesus. You instruct me in all I need to know, just when I need to know it.

I have no doubt that You are always with me, even when I want to hide.

When I am tested or tempted, I will not be shaken because I know You are with me and will sustain me. And if you are with me, who could harm me?

My heart is so glad to be Your child. My soul dances at the thought of being with You each day. I will always rejoice in Your love.

You, my Jesus, have given me the rest I need to face this day. Whatever it holds I will know I am safe in You!

Good Morning My Precious Jesus!
I love You so much and want to spend some time with You today. Not just this morning, but throughout the day. I want to come and talk, enjoy Your teachings and just be in Your presence.

Your Word this morning caught my eye and now I’m thinking how amazing You are. Even in the beginning, You were trying to get through to us how special we are to You. You told Your people of old to consecrate the items required in Your Temple. Everything that was to be in Your presence, had to be consecrated to make them holy. 

Then my mind went forward and thought about You. You were consecrated by Your Father, You are absolutely holy. You came into my world so I could come into Yours.

The words that jumped into my heart this morning, Jesus, is where is says that everything that touched the Temple items would also become holy.

You know, Jesus, I don’t consider myself to be holy, but when You touched my heart, came into my life, just by touching me, You made me holy! 

As I walk through today, I would ask that I think on this fact: You made me holy and I am worthy. Not by my own strength or abilities, but all because of You. You are the one that I live for and I want to shine Your love today!

Morning Jesus,
Thank You for the night’s rest. I’m always amazed when I don’t sleep well, I still have enough energy to get through the day. You provide for all my needs, even the hours of sleep You know I will need.

I am so thankful for Your Word this morning. It reminds me that I can do nothing without You. I so often hear, ‘I’ve found God’, but that’s not at all the truth, is it? You found me, called me and made me holy by revealing to me Your Jesus. All I really need to is respond. 

So often I hear You calling, but my heart hurts to confess that I don’t always respond, please forgive me. Help me, Spirit, to lay down my will and listen. Remind me please, to remember that Your will is always better than mine. I wish that my actions and words would proclaim that I have been called by You. I want so much to live my life for You! I love You, Jesus!

Good Morning Father,
Thank You for the nights rest and waking me with the morning sun. Your faithfulness is never ending and I feel so safe in You!

You are my Strength for this day, LORD. I know some of what the day will hold and I need You so desperately to be my Strength. 

You are also my Refuge. I can come to You at any time through the day and receive refreshment. You protect me and keep me secure in Your presence. You hover over me like a mama bird hovers over her young. 

For all You do for me each day, I want to sing Your praises and share Your love. You have placed people around me that need You and may not even know who You are. I so desire to be Your beacon in my little corner of the world and proclaim Your greatness.
You are my Love!

Good Morning My Jesus,
I just wanted to thank You for getting me up early enough to see that beautiful sunrise. The oranges and yellows were magnificent! If I had stayed in bed 5 minutes longer, I would have missed it. Your timing and care for me is so wonderful.

Jesus, I can only imagine what You looked like when You walked this earth. There are no actual pictures or paintings of Your image. And no wonder, You Yourself said I was not to make any graven image of You. Whatever I could draw or come up with would not do You glory. 

But, there are words of what You are like and those speak volumes. Again, You are reminding me that what I look like on the outside, should not be my focus. It’s what is on the inside, my character, my passions and my heart. As I read Your Word written so many years ago, I see Your character. Your passion for people to come to You. Your love that You give so generously. Your heart for justice.

I will praise You always for coming to this world, showing me who I need to become, so I may come into Your world. And right now, at this very moment, while I sit with You, the two worlds merge. You are my LORD, the love of my life and my very reason to exist. How I Love You!

Good Morning Jesus!
Have I told you lately I love You? You are my Companion, Savior and LORD. I so enjoy these moments in the morning with You. The peace You pour into me, the strength I receive and the joy of coming to know You more each day is my heart’s desire!

Jesus, You know I have to do ‘things’ through the day in order to support my family, raise my children, and to just provide for others and myself. There is work to attend, meetings to be at, children to raise and so much more to fill my day.

Yet, I want more than anything to deepen my relationship with You. Your Word tells me I should have a rich relationship with You. Help me please to realize that I can have a relationship with You even while I do all these other things. I shouldn’t leave You here, but know that I walk with You through everything I do this day. Please open my eyes to see You all day long. Tune my hearing so I can know that whisper of Yours and respond. I want to walk arm in arm with You this day and know that You are my God!

Good Morning Yahweh,
This is the beginning of a new day and I praise You for being with me. Your faithfulness will always amaze me. You lift me up to be so much more than I could ever have expected. Your love makes my heart want to explode with the joy of being with You now.

I know, Father, that You are leading me down a new path. It seems to be so unfamiliar and I am so unsure of the way. I want to trust You, but I also don’t want to miss any turns or change direction and miss where You are going. How wonderful You are to provide the light I need to see. You shine wisdom and knowledge so I know which choice to make. You smooth out all the bumps in the road to make my way easier. If I will let You, I know I will do so much more than I could ever have imagined. 

I need to remember today, Father, that You will not leave me, You will not give up on me and I will be able to glorify You with every thing I do!

Good Morning Father,
I’m still a bit sleepy this morning, but my heart wants to be with You now. I am excited to see what You will teach me and I am just blessed to be in Your presence.

I often wonder how I know that You are God. There is no scientific proof that You reside in me. You are not visible to the human eye. Yet, I know You are God and I know You are right here with me now.

I know because You have given me Your gift of faith. You have shown me time and again how wonderful You are. I see You with my spirit and know You in my heart. I am truly blessed.

I see Your existence when I’m outside with nature. I am beginning to understand Your Word as You give me wisdom. And, as Your scriptures says, You will reward those who sincerely seek You. My reward this morning is to sit in Your presence and get to know You better. I am truly blessed and love You with my life!

Good Morning Father,
What a beautiful morning You have created. The air is still crisp but the sun is warming the earth as it rises. That’s just what You do for me each day. I don’t always feel Your presence with me, but as Your Son rises in my soul, I come to life with His warmth. How precious You are to me!

I have to confess Father, I don’t always have delight when I think on Your Word. There are times the words come in through my eyes and never even stick long enough for me to remember what I read. I know I’m reading them, but I don’t comprehend.

Today, with Your help, I want to change that. I would like for You to give me a verse that I can think on throughout my day. As I jot it on a card to take with me everywhere, please give me insight and wisdom into what You are telling me. Help me to understand what You are saying. Please give me the delight to be in Your Word.

But, I know Father, I can ‘memorize’, ‘meditate’, and ‘ponder’ on a verse my whole life and that still isn’t enough. I want to live Your Word. Give me the strength to start today with one verse, so I will be a delight to You!
