Luke 5:16

But Jesus often withdrew to the wilderness for prayer.
Luke 5:16

Morning My Precious Jesus,
It’s wonderful to sit with You for a while this morning. I know I have chores to get done, family to take care of, but thank You for these moments we can share.
You show me, LORD, so much about Yourself and the importance of prayer and time alone with You. I have to confess I don’t always get here with You in the morning due to life. I know my heart is not good through the day when I miss my time with You. Strengthen me Jesus to take this time seriously and help me to commit to whatever time I can.

I want to see what Your Word has to say to me today. Teach me to search for the gem You want to share. Help me to express what I have learned to my family and friends.
Thank You for loving me, Jesus, even when I don’t spend time with You. Help me to be faithful each day to sit in Your presence and tell you I love You!
Amen

Philippians 4:19

And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from His glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:19

Morning Jesus!
What a wonderful way to greet this new morning. To be able to spend a few moments with You reminds me that You guarded me through the night and will be with me through day. How wonderful You are.

Jesus, it seems like there is so much going on right now. Children are heading back to school, new programs are beginning, there seems to be so much demand on my time right. At the same time it seems I have so many needs. I need to be in two places at one time, I need to be a better provider for my family, I need to be happy and cheerful at work.
I can’t do it, Jesus.
But I thank You for Your word this morning. You remind me that You will provide for my needs. Right now my biggest need is Your presence. Help me to let go of all the needs on my list, help me to place them in Your hand, and just be with You. Your Spirit, Jesus, is what I need. Thank You for supplying my greatest treasure, You.

I want to walk with You today Jesus, knowing that You are my provider and my love.
Amen

Matthew 28:6

He isn’t here! He is risen from the dead, just as He said would happen. Come, see where His body was lying.
Matthew 28:6

Morning my dear Jesus,
I was listening to a song and it reminded me that You are not dead but alive and moving in this land. How exciting to be with You right now, in this time and this moment.

Jesus, I can see you moving through my church and beyond. How wonderful it would be to see a revival, a revolution for you. This morning, You have helped me to see that it’s my relationship with you I need to revive. If I want to see a revival, I know now that it starts with me. Spirit, please blow on the flame that I once carried for you. Ignite within me a blow torch that will shine your love and carry Your word to those in need.

You know, Father, that I’m scared to pray for a revival. So many times in the past a revival happens due to a tragedy or natural disaster. Guide me past this fear and excite me to pray for Your mighty hand to move and draw people to You.

You are so passionate to save, to be known. It’s You who can move the mountains that only I see as road blocks. It’s You my love, that I wish to follow!
I love you LORD!
Amen

1 Samuel 16:7

But the LORD said to Samuel, “Don’t judge by his appearance or height, for I have rejected him. The LORD doesn’t see things the way you see them. People judge by outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart.”
1 Samuel 16:7

Morning Father,
Thank You for the wonderful rest last night. Thank You for this day You have made, I want to be glad and rejoice in it.

Your Word this morning tells me I’m not supposed to look at outward appearances and judge people. But this culture has put so much stock in our outside appearances, LORD, it’s hard for me to look deeper into people. I know it’s wrong and I want to change the way I think. Please forgive me for my judgmental thinking. Help me to remember this verse today and search for You inside the people I meet. Surprise me with their inner spirit and break my ways of judging.

On the other hand I thank you, Father, for seeing my heart as my outward appearance is not always pleasing to You. My spirit wants to please You but the flesh doesn’t always go along.
Thank you for the hidden gems that are inside each one of Your children.
Amen

Jeremiah 32:27

“I am the Lord, the God of all the peoples of the world. Is anything too hard for Me?
Jeremiah 32:27

Good Morning Jesus,
How precious You are to me. You greet me in the morning, You walk with me through the day, You show me the beauty of Your creation and You guard over me while I sleep. You are so wonderful my heart can’t contain the joy. You know, LORD, that if I can’t dance with You on my feet, I’ll dance with You in my heart.

Forgive me, Jesus, when I place you in a box, limit Your power and greatness and just out and out doubt your abilities. I sometimes forget that You are the creator of this Universe and all that it holds. You have drawn the majesty of a star being born, to the intricacy of the baby developing in the mother’s womb.

I love Your Word this morning as it reminds me nothing is to hard for You. Even when my day seems impossible to get through, You will never give up, You are always working to draw me closer to You, You are continually whispering to me to trust You. Oh Jesus, how I love You. Help me today to stay by Your side and know You are my God!
Amen

Malachi 4:2

“But for you who fear My name, the Sun of Righteousness will rise with healing in His wings. And you will go free, leaping with joy like calves let out to pasture.
Malachi 4:2

Good Morning Jesus!
I want to thank You for waking me this morning and for the new mercies You present to me this day. I praise You, for You will light my way and guide me. I ask that Your joy will shine through me today, that those I meet will see You before they see me.

I enjoy Your Word this morning too! Such a wonderful word picture, the joy of being in Your presence. I’m not sure I want to see myself leaping like a calf, but my heart wants to burst with Your presence and love!

Jesus, I need You so much, I can’t do today without Your presence.  I want to be the person You have designed me to be, but I get confused and not sure where You are leading. I will trust You this day and listen for what You say.  Help me to tune out all the other noise and learn to listen to Your voice. Help me to stay in Your presence no matter what is going on in this world.

You, my Jesus, are my very life and I love You!
Amen

Ephesians 1:18

I pray that your hearts will be flooded with light so that you can understand the confident hope He has given to those He called-His holy people who are His rich and glorious inheritance.
Ephesians 1:18

Morning Jesus!
You are the light of my life, the hope of my heart and my strength to keep on living for you!  How blessed I am that you are my God.
You shine your love to me when I’m unsure of even myself.
You give me your hope even when I can’t see a future.
You give me strength when I am tired.
How can I ever praise you enough, Jesus for being my all in all?
I will sing to you today the song of my heart and allow you to mold me into the person you designed me to be.
How wonderful it is to be your child and how blessed I am to represent you to this world.
I love you LORD!
Amen

Matthew 14:24-25

Meanwhile, the disciples were in trouble far away from land, for a strong wind had risen, and they were fighting heavy waves. About three o’clock in the morning Jesus came toward them, walking on the water.
Matthew 14:24-25

Morning Jesus,
How I love to be with You in the morning. I would like to spend my whole day with You. Remind me all through the day that You are right beside me, at work, while I’m tending to my children, driving, anywhere I am, You are. Thank You for being my companion through this life.

Jesus, You know that I have storms all the time in my life. Some are big and overwhelming, others are just a bit of rain clouds on the horizon. I have learned through Your scriptures and Spirit, that You are the great storm calmer. You give peace when none can be found, You give hope with things seem their darkest. For this understanding I will praise You for being my God and Savior!

You have never said that life will be a bowl of cherries, or smooth sailing. In fact You have warned me that trials will come. You have also told me many times that You will not leave nor forsake me. I can navigate the storms of my life with You beside me. I love You, Jesus, so very much!

You are my King and I will call out for You today. I know You will calm the storms of of my life. No matter what the outcome, I will trust Your wisdom.
Amen

Colossians 2:9-10

For in Christ lives all the fullness of God in a human body. So you also are complete through your union with Christ, who is the head over every ruler and authority.
Colossians 2:9-10

Good Morning My Savior,
How wonderful it is to spend this time with You. To be able to think on Your Word and know that You are here with me.

Your Word this morning tells me that when You lived on the earth, You were the fullness of the Father. To think that all Your divinity was packed down into a human body, well, that alone is a miracle! When I think on the fact that You loved me so much, and gave Your life for me, I am so humbled.

I have also come to realize that this relationship with You is my lifelong journey. Everyday You are asking me to step out in faith so I can show the world I live in that You are God. And what a God You are!

When I take the time to talk with You each day, I do feel a completeness that only comes with being with You. You help me to put my day into perspective and the strength to carry on. I love You so very much, You are the love of my life!
Amen

Psalm 55:22

Give your burdens to the Lord, and He will take care of you. He will not permit the godly to slip and fall.
Psalm 55:22

Good Morning My Jesus!
Thank You for being my LORD. You amaze me every morning with Your greeting of the new day. You bless me every night with Your peace in my heart. You, my Jesus, are all I need!

You know the burdens I carry in my heart. Many of them are things that I could never control or even have a say in. I let them twist and turn in my mind, until they are all I can think on.

You have once again reminded me this morning, that You want me to give my burdens to You. Why can’t I remember that, especially when the night falls? It’s Your heart’s desire to take care of me, why can’t I let You?

Please forgive me, Jesus, for trying to live this life on my own. When an opportunity comes to me, please give me Your strength to do what I can and the wisdom to turn it over to You when I can’t. Please help me to remember that You want and will take care of me and that includes the burdens I carry.

Thank You for the wonderful teaching today!
Amen
