Psalm 91:1

Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
Psalm 91:1

Good Morning Jesus!
You are my King and I so adore You. You have guided me through these past few days with such tender care. You have brought me through the chaos of my choices and given me rest and renewal with You. Oh, how I love You!

I praise You, Jesus, for the peace and rest I find in You. I know I can find shelter with You anytime through the day or night. You are always ready and excited for me to turn into Your arms.

As I navigate through the day, please help me to remember that You are right here with me. Help me to remember that You, Spirit, live within me. Not beside, or in front or in back, but inside me, guiding my thoughts and asking for obedience. I want so much to please You, but I can’t without Your help.

My peace for this day will come from You.
Amen

James 1:6

But when you ask Him, be sure that your faith is in God alone. Do not waver, for a person with divided loyalty is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is blown and tossed by the wind. James 1:6

Morning Jesus,
I am so glad you are my Rock and Foundation. I can trust You and know that You are my God. I love you, LORD.

This morning I feel like everything in my life is shifting, I feel saddened and not sure where I’m supposed to go. Things have changed so fast and they haven’t gone in the direction that I thought they would have.

During this time of transition, LORD, I will keep my eyes focused on You. Your path is the one that I want to follow, and I know You have the perfect plan for me. Why do I fret? Why do I wish things would turn out differently? I am a wave in the sea today, Jesus. Tossed this way and that with my feelings. Remind me my feelings are not always trustworthy, but You are. Give me peace today, Your peace, to know You are there. Thank you for Your encouragement as I continue on. I praise You for being my Savior and my heart!
Be still my soul and rest in Jesus.
Amen

Philippians 4:4

Always be full of joy in the Lord. I say it again—rejoice!
Philippians 4:4

Morning Jesus,
What joy You place in my heart, LORD, to be in Your presence and love You. I know Jesus, that joy isn’t always happiness and laughter. Joy is the complete peace of knowing You are my God and I am your child. Joy is the bubble in my heart that won’t go away in spite of my circumstances. Joy is knowing that I am loved by the Great I AM.

Today Jesus, I want to bring joy to Your heart. I want to do what You have created me to do. I want to shine Your love to everyone. I want to soar on Your wings and enjoy being close to You.
I love You so much Jesus, You are my sweetheart!
Amen.

Psalm 68:4-5

Sing praises to God and to His name! Sing loud praises to Him who rides the clouds. His name is the Lord— rejoice in His presence! Father to the fatherless, defender of widows—this is God, whose dwelling is holy.
Psalm 68:4-5

Good Morning Abba,
I want to sing Your praises this morning and all through the day. You, the Creator of all things, You are with me now. How awesome is my God!

Your name, Abba, is such a blessing to me. I am so humbled and honored that You find me worthy to be called Your child. I take such joy to know You!

You love to take care of me, and it is constant and personal. Yet, You take care of everyone that comes to You. You are the father or spouse to those who don’t have an earthly family. You are my awesome God!

You are holy, my LORD. Perfect in every way and I will sing Your praises today and all the days to come. I love You so very much!
Amen

Psalm 135:13

Your name, O Lord, endures forever; Your fame, O Lord, is known to every generation.
Psalm 135:13

Good Morning Abba,
You are so amazing and take such good care of me. I thank You for revealing Yourself to me, for guiding and teaching me every moment of the day.

Your Name has endured for so many centuries. Even those who do not know You, have heard of Your Name.

The mighty works of Your hands are known to each generation. Your fame has endured.

You have reminded me this morning, the reason Your Name has endured is because Your children have talked about You, what You have done in their lives, how You have loved them in spite of their failings. People have sat around the campfires telling their children Your story. They have talked about Your ways around the dinner table. People have shared You through their lives and family, so they will remember what You have done.

Please help me, Abba, to share You with others like those before me have. It’s now my privilege and responsibility to do the talking and loving. You know I’m kind of uncomfortable with this, but because I love You so very much, I want to overcome my reluctance. I know with You, Spirit, all things are possible. So today I will lean into You and let You be my strength and courage!
I love You!
Amen

Philippians 4:4

Always be full of joy in the Lord. I say it again—rejoice!
Philippians 4:4

Morning Jesus,
I am so blessed, Jesus, to have You as my God. Every morning You show me delights and wonders. Every evening You calm me with Your presence. How perfect You are!

Thank You so much for waking me early this morning, so I can watch the sunrise with You. I love the way You kiss the earth with the light, waking me to another amazing day. The breeze brushes my cheek and reminds me that I am loved by You.

Yet, last night, Jesus, the sunset was so simple, my breath was taken away as I watch the glory of Your evening approach. There wasn’t a cloud in the sky and the comfort and peace of the moment will stay with me for a long time. Thank You for placing me in a position that I had to see the end of the day with You.

What more can I say, Jesus, I will always be joyful in You. It is so fun to watch where You are leading me. I want to please You, to know I am in Your will, I will look for You in every moment of this day!

Amen

Ecclesiastes 3:11

Yet God has made everything beautiful for its own time. He has planted eternity in the human heart, but even so, people cannot see the whole scope of God’s work from beginning to end
Ecclesiastes 3:11

Good Morning Father,
What beauty You have shown me this morning. From the rising of the sun, to the birds singing their joy. You surround me with Your nature to always remind me You are no more that a breath away.

Your Word this morning, Father, reminds me that I will not always see the end of the work You have begun. I live in such a small space of the world, I cannot even begin to see what You are doing on the other side of the world. Even if I could see it, I probably wouldn’t understand the whys. So help me to trust You, to know that You have seen the beginning and end, You are the creator of all time, and You are beautiful. I know You will complete the work You have started in me and I will take joy in knowing You more each moment!
Amen

Ecclesiastes 11:7

Light is sweet; how pleasant to see a new day dawning.
Ecclesiastes 11:7

Good Morning Father,
You are the love of my life. You surround me each day and watch over me every night. What more could I ask for?

Once again You have blessed me with a treasure from Your Word. And what more could I say but, ‘light is sweet; how pleasant to see a new day dawning.’

Every morning Your mercies are new and You pour them out on me. Every day is a new adventure to spend with You.

I want to thank You this morning for all You have given me. I do not deserve it, but I will praise You at every turn of the day and know You are my God! I love You, LORD!
Amen

Deuteronomy 31:12

Call them all together—men, women, children, and the foreigners living in your towns—so they may hear this Book of Instruction and learn to fear the Lord your God and carefully obey all the terms of these instructions.
Deuteronomy 31:12

Good Morning My LORD,
You are my amazing and wonderful God. I’m beginning to see You in different areas of my life as You open my heart to Your glories. I am so blessed to be Your child and I love You so very much!

I know You are always calling me to Your Word. Not only to hear it but to place it in my life and live the Word.

You are also calling others, those who may not know You, to come and hear about Your love. Yet, how they can come when they don’t know You?

You want me to tell others about Your amazing love, don’t You Father. You desire for me to be Your voice in my part of this world.

I have to confess that it scares me, LORD. What if I mess up? What will people think of me?

Please forgive me, it’s not about me, it’s all about You. I need to trust that You will give me the words to speak at the perfect time.

Your Word says, You will send Your Word out, and it always produces fruit. It will accomplish all You want it to, and it will prosper everywhere You send it. I claim this promise, to help me to tell those around me about Your amazing Word.
Amen

John 6:29

Jesus told them, “This is the only work God wants from you: Believe in the One He has sent.”
John 6:29

Good Morning Jesus!
It’s good again to be with You today. To know that You have prepared this day to be a special one for me is very exciting. To know that You will walk with me through this day gives me the hope and joy to face whatever may happen. Thank You for being my God and Savior.

There are days, LORD, that I want to get out and go. Do many good works for You and proclaim Your word and to love all I meet. While I want to do good for You, I also forget my most important and only work. I am only supposed to work at believing in You. It seems too little, I want to do more. But, again You tell me to only work at believing in You. I realize that as I believe in You, all my other activities and work become worthwhile. As I work to believe in You, I will come to know You more. Best part? As I work to believe in You, I will be pleasing You!
I love You so much Jesus!
Amen
