The LORD is good, a strong refuge when trouble comes. He is close to those who trust in Him.

Good Morning Father,
Thank You for waking me early today. It’s so wonderful to sit in the quiet and listen to the world wake. You do give me joy when I spend these moments with You.

You are my good and strong LORD. Your power amazes me, yet, it is Your gentleness that makes me stand in awe. You come to my heart with so much love and care. You show me how wonderful You are and then ask me to join You in this life. You never force me, but gently woo me with Your love. I have never been the same, LORD, since I have come to You.

I take joy in the fact that I am not the same, that You are shaping me into the person You know, that You created me to be! It’s a wild ride sometimes, Father, but I always know You are my strong tower. You are my refuge for the rest of this life.

Thank You so much for loving me and helping me to trust You with each step I take. Thank You for being my God!

The faithful love of the LORD never ends! His mercies never cease.  Great is His faithfulness; His mercies begin afresh each morning.
Lamentations 3:22 & 23

Morning Jesus,
You know I love this scripture. It’s one of my favorites. When I stop and think on this verse, to realize that Your love never ends, Your mercy to me will never cease, I bow before You with awe and honor. That You would consider me worthy of all this, just amazes my heart and soul!

I thank You, Jesus, for the fresh start today. Yesterday was kind of a mess at times. I dropped the ball, I gave up too soon. So today I want to remember that You are here, waiting to forgive me and then we’ll start again. 

I also want to remember to give love and mercy to those who I meet today. Not that I have all that much mercy to pass on, but I do have Yours. I know through You, I can pass Your love, grace and mercy to others. I don’t just want to receive Your love, I want to be the conduit of Your love and grace for someone else. I want to be Your hands and feet and voice in my little corner of the world.

We know how much God loves us, and we have put our trust in His love. God is love, and all who live in love live in God, and God lives in them.

Morning My King,
How wonderful You are. I could never get tired of praising You. Everywhere I turn I see Your presence in this world. How did I ever miss You before? I know my eyes were tuned to see only what mattered to me, now You are opening my eyes to see what matters to You.

I will never understand the fullness and the depth of Your love for me. I am such a fickle person, always changing my mind, choosing the wrong path, I must frustrate You to no end. I am thankful my, LORD, that Your faithfulness is so much greater than mine. I will always praise You for pursuing me with Your love. I love You so much!

Today I would like to be joyful in Your presence and love. Whatever unfolds today Jesus, hold on to me with Your joy!

Then, after doing all those things, I will pour out my Spirit upon all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy. Your old men will dream dreams, and your young men will see visions.

Good Morning Father,
I love Your Word this morning. It is so true and faithful and I stand amazed that what You wrote thousands of years ago, still has so much truth for me today. It is life giving and so exciting to see You teaching me.

I thank You so very much for blessing me with Your Spirit, LORD. To think that You have given me the very essence of You is beyond my comprehension. I can actually have Your presence with me all the time!

I see You working in my life, helping me to do things that I never would have been able to do without You. I see Your Word changing my thoughts and attitudes, giving me more compassion and understanding than I ever thought I would have.

With You, my LORD, life is full and over flowing. I thank You for being my God!

So the Lord must wait for you to come to Him so He can show you His love and compassion. For the Lord is a faithful God. Blessed are those who wait for His help. Isaiah 30:18

Good Morning Father,
How great You are. When I ponder on the Universe, my finite mind just cannot understand how big You are. Then to think that with all You have created, it’s me You desire to be with this morning, my heart is so full of joy I could soar on the wings of eagles. To be with You is my heart’s desire.

You have spent so much time waiting for me to come to You, to sit at Your feet and learn Your from Your Word, and to be able to grow in Your presence, I praise You for never giving up on me. You show me mercy and grace every moment, yet, You will discipline me to keep me safe. You are my wonderful and loving Father and I want to please You by living my life for You!

So remember this and keep it firmly in mind: The Lord is God both in heaven and on earth, and there is no other.

Good Morning My Jesus!
I am so excited to be with You this morning. I know You went with me as I walked, or got  dressed, or drove to work. But, I look forward to being with You this moment, to talk to You, to think on Your Word and just be in Your presence. You are my life and I love living with You.

Jesus, through this day I want to remember that You are omnipresent, You are with me in this special way, and yet You are with all who follow You in the same way. I sure can’t figure out how You can do that, but I know You do. That’s only one of the amazing ways that make You God!

I want to remember to proclaim Your love to others who know You and those who do not. Help me to slow down this day and be in Your presence all day long. Help me to breathe in the sweet fragrance of Your Spirit and know that I am blessed.

Good Morning My LORD,
Every morning I am in complete awe at how You are working in me. You give me the passion and desire to be with You. You are opening my heart and mind to Your Word. I am thinking on You more throughout the day than I ever have before. You are my amazing King!

I praise You, for You have redeemed me, You have set me on the Rock of my Salvation so I can stand tall and not be shaken. You have done everything so I can be with You in the moment.

I desire to have the words that come from my mouth today, to proclaim Your love to others. I want to ponder all You have done for me and realize just how faithful You are. I want to bring a smile to Your face and joy to Your heart!

Morning Jesus,
How wonderful You are to give me Your Word. I’m not sure I completely realize just how blessed I am to own my own Bible. I also know I don’t open it as often as You would desire, or make a place for Your Word in my heart and life. Please forgive me and help me to absorb it into my spirit.

I thank You, Jesus, for coming to this earth, stepping down into Your creation, to show me how I should live. You are so gracious and merciful. I must confess, I’m guilty of not being always kind to my family and friends. You desire a lifestyle like Yours. I’m guilty of living my own lifestyle and then asking You to accommodate Yourself into my life. I need Your forgiveness, LORD. I need a refreshment in how to live for You.

Today would You please remind me to imitate You in all I do? Remind me I am Your ambassador in this land and others may never come to know You except through me.

I am Your child and I praise You for loving me.

I want you to show love, not offer sacrifices. I want you to know Me more than I want burnt offerings. But like Adam, you broke My covenant and betrayed My trust.
Hosea 6:6-7

Good Morning Yahweh,
You are so faithful and wonderful to me. You wake me every morning with a new page of my life. You help me to continue my story or You show me when I’m starting a new chapter. You are my constant companion and guide. I could never live the fullness of this life without You.

You ask so little of me, Father. You ask me to love, not only You, but all those around me. I try to make it so much more difficult, I try to set rules as to how I should love, who I should love and when I should love. You don’t want that, You just want me to love.

You created me to be in a relationship with You. I break Your trust every time I try and do things on my own. Every time I say I’ll do it my way. Oh Father, my heart breaks to think I have hurt You like that. I am so sorry.

To be in a relationship with You is my hearts desire. You fill all the empty spots and give me a reason to live and an anticipation of what’s to come.

Help me to no longer set my rules about loving. Break down the walls I have constructed in my life that keep You out. Help me to focus on one thing today: being with You in all I do.

Morning Jesus,
I thank and praise You for waking me to Your presence this morning. You are my God and I will always sing about Your glory.

You know me, Jesus, I always seem to be in a hurry. Not always with what I’m doing each day, but with my spiritual life. I always want to be more and grow fast. I’m not as patient as I know You want me to be.

You always amaze me, my LORD, at how You guide and keep me growing at Your pace. When I run ahead, You call me back to the right path.  When I tend to delay, You encourage me with Your nudges to move forward. You are so perfect and loving and I adore You my King!
