Good Morning Abba,
Thank you for waking me in time to watch the sunrise this morning with You. It’s chilly outside but there is a warmth in my heart as I sit with You. You are my purpose for living and I praise You for claiming me as Your child.

I am sometimes saddened by my English language, Father, as it limits the understanding of Your Word. Am I really supposed to be afraid of You? Am I supposed to cower in Your presence.

As I think on this word ‘fear,’ to me it means to really understand that You are God and You have the power to create and destroy, to acknowledge that You are God and to begin to grasp hold of how great You are. When I begin to have the knowledge that You are my giver of live, then I will truly have my life!

I never want to take You for granted, my LORD, I always want to respect and revere You. You are my God and I will honor You with my life. I thank You for giving me the knowledge and understanding of this part of Your character, that You are my security and protection.  No one can snatch me from Your hand!

Let the sea and everything in it shout his praise! Let the fields and their crops burst out with joy! Let the trees of the forest rustle with praise, for the Lord is coming to judge the earth. Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever.
1 Chronicles 16:32-34

Morning Jesus,
Oh, my goodness! You are so very good! You have kept me safe through the night, giving me the exact rest I need and woke me with the morning light. Before the day gets started, I want to spend this time with You. It’s become so special and I always want to cherish this time together.

This is the season of giving thanks, Jesus. Yet, You have proclaimed that every season should be a season of thankfulness. You want me to always be aware of what You are doing in my life and give You the glory.

All of Your creation knows You are God, so why do we humans miss it so much of the time? Help me please, to see You in all I do today and give You honor and glory and praise! For I know that Your faithful love endures forever and I love You!

Good Morning Jesus!
Have I told You lately just how much I love You? I do! I love You with all my strength and mind and soul. I am so completely blessed to be Your child.

Your Word, what more can be said? Your Word is the power of the universe, You spoke creation into being. You bring down mighty nations with Your Word and yet call me gently, again with Your Word. 

Help me to ponder on this today, Father. Help me to think how powerful and gentle You are. Please give me wisdom to understand Your Word, give me strength to live Your Word.

Good Morning Jesus!
You are the love of my life and I so adore You! I stand in awe throughout the days at the beauty and order You have created. I want to enjoy each day and praise You for showing me Your ways.

Last night as the sun was setting You had clouds scattered across the city. The sun shown through and spotlighted Your glorious creation! It was stunning and took my breath away! I thank You for that moment.

Help me please to remember to watch for those type of moments throughout the day and coming season. I tend to get so busy and focused I forget that this is Your season and You came to pour Your love into people. You are asking me to do this very thing. 

Open my eyes to those You want me to love. Let me see in them their beauty, just like I saw in Your creation. Thank You for Your teachings. Thank You for Your love.

Good Morning My Wonderful Savior,
How pleasant and sweet it is to be with You this morning. To know You are excited to be with me, gives my heart joy. When I spend time with You, my soul finds peace for the day. You are so amazingly good to me.

I praise You, Jesus, for Your Word and how it guides, teaches and shows me what is important to You. This morning I’m reminded that You often went off by Yourself to be in prayer. You, my Messiah and King, knew that I needed Your example of being with Your Father, often, in order to stay in touch, to stay connected. There are times I wonder what You talked about, but what is important, is to know that You talk to Him. 

It is so important for me to stay in touch with You today and the days to come. I want to hide away with You, each day. Remind me to come often, share what is going on, and then to spend some time with You this evening. I love You my Jesus, I praise You for being my King!

But when Daniel learned that the law had been signed, he went home and knelt down as usual in his upstairs room, with its windows open toward Jerusalem. He prayed three times a day, just as he had always done, giving thanks to his God.
Daniel 6:10

Morning Father,
Thank You for Your faithfulness to be here with me this morning. What a delight and privilege to wake with You, ready to greet me for the day.

Thank You so much for Daniel. His faithfulness to You was amazing and such a good example for me. He was devoted to You and unafraid of what people thought or did. Even when he knew his life could be ended if he continued praying to You, he went on, three times each day, pouring his heart out to You.

I am so thankful, Father, that I have the privilege in this county to be able to pray to You any time I choose. Ashamedly I don’t always exercise that privilege. Please forgive me, help me today to turn to You often and like Daniel, pour my heart out to You. I want to praise You often today, giving thanks that You chose me to be Your child. I love You so much!

Good Morning My Abba,
I praise You this morning for waking me to another fresh day. Your mercies are new again this morning. The air is crisp and clear and I want to see Your glories around me all day long.

Father, I want to seek You in all I do today. I want to look for You in every person I meet, in every picture my mind takes. I want to walk with You so closely, people will see You and not me. It is my hearts desire to see You happy with me as I glorify You.

I love You so very, very much!

Good Morning Yahweh!

Your goodness is beyond my understanding. Your love for me is so underserved. I will always be amazed that You chose me to be Your child. What honor You have blessed me with. I will cherish You all the days of my life.

I want to be so close to You today, Father, I want to be Your shadow and Your joy. When I am afraid, I will let You calm me with Your presence. When I am joyful, I will dance with gladness before You. I would like to sing with You all day long!

Help me to ponder on this verse through the day, I’m not good at memorizing, but I will depend on You to help me. To want please You today!

But giving thanks is a sacrifice that truly honors Me. If you keep to My path, I will reveal to you the salvation of God.”
Psalm 50:23

Good Morning El Shaddai,
I just love all the names You have. Each one gives light into Your personality, El Shaddai, God Almighty. And God Almighty You are!

I am so blessed to be living on this side of the cross. For as in Your scripture this morning, Asaph was still waiting for Your salvation. You have blessed me, because I know Your salvation. You have revealed the Messiah to me and I want to thank You with all my being. Through Jesus, I can have this special time with You each morning. Thank You my King.

You tell me that giving thanks to You is a sacrifice that truly gives You honor. Yet, to me, it seems so little. But, how often do I give You thanks? Not nearly enough. Help me to focus on Your goodness today, Abba, giving thanks for every small blessing!

Good Morning Father!
You are my wonderful LORD and Savior. I feel like my praise is so feeble to describe Your greatness. I fail miserably to proclaim Your wonder and glory. I am so grateful that You know my heart and just how much I love You!

I know, Father, that Your love surrounds me all the time. Even in the worst of times, You remind me I am loved and valued by You.

My life seems so out of control right now LORD. I rush here and there. I’m not getting all the things done I need to, and getting grumpy in the mean time. Please forgive and show me where to cut back, slow me down so I can just be with You. I need to be spending more time with You and less time stressing. You are my hope, not only for the rest of the day, but for my future. I don’t where it’s going, but You do and I praise You for having nothing but the best in store for me, even when it doesn’t look like it. I will trust You today Father. I will seek You in all I do and shout Your love to the world!
