Galatians 4:4-5

But when the right time came, God sent His Son, born of a woman, subject to the law. God sent Him to buy freedom for us who were slaves to the law, so that He could adopt us as His very own children.
Galatians 4:4-5

Good Morning My LORD!
I praise You this morning for Your amazing love and care for my soul. Your faithfulness to wake me with thoughts of You is my most cherished time of the day.

Thank You for the beauty of this morning. I love the winter sun and the light it sheds on my flowers. I am also blessed to have flowers in December! Have I thanked You lately for moving me to this part of Your Kingdom?

Your Word this morning reminds me that my place in Your Kingdom didn’t happen by chance, just as Your Son’s birth wasn’t by chance. Your timing was perfect. Yet, I’m sure that people of the time would have said different. They were persecuted, possibly had no hope for their future, and probably thought that You had forgotten them. They waited and waited for the Savior,  it must have seemed liked eternity.

Another blessing this morning, Father, is that I live on this side of the cross. I have hope, Your Son, and I know He lives, right here with me! But, like Your people of long ago, there are times that I seem to wait and wait for Your answer to a prayer or the next step I’m to take.

Thank You, my King, for reminding me again this morning that Your timing will be perfect in my life. At just the right time You will speak into my heart, You will shine on my next step with Your Spirit. Let me rest in that knowledge. Let me rest in Your presence.

I do really love You!
Amen

Isaiah 26:4

Trust in the Lord always, for the Lord God is the eternal Rock.
Isaiah 26:4

Good Morning Yahweh,
You are the God before time and will be my God for all my life. You shower such love and grace on me, I bow before Your presence to show my gratitude.

Once again, You have shown me this morning that I need to trust You more, always. Why do I stumble with trusting You, LORD? I want to place all my life in You, yet, I’m always holding back. I know You are worthy and faithful, why can’t I get that through my hard head?

I praise You for Your patience with me. For being my Rock. Never once have You caused me to distrust You, You are forever faithful. So today, I will trust You. Even when things don’t seem to be going the way I thought they should, I will trust. Help me to put this scripture on my heart, so that when those times of distrust arise, I will say, ‘I will trust in You always, for You are my LORD God, and You are the eternal Rock!’
Amen

Hosea 12:6

So now, come back to your God. Act with love and justice, and always depend on Him.
Hosea 12:6

Good Morning My Love,
How amazingly wonderful it is to sit with You and welcome the day. As it unfolds around me, I see Your glory and wonder everywhere. The breeze blows me Your kiss, Your sun warms my heart and there are times I think I will burst with the joy of Your love!

Thank You for these precious moments we can share together. I long for Your Word to penetrate my life, my eyes strain to see Your grace but it is Your mercy I know without end.

I am so weak and faithless to You, my King. My desire is to please You, but this world keeps creeping in. I need Your wisdom and knowledge to know where to take my stand. I need Your strength to draw the line and say I will not do to this or that.

I praise You for giving me all I need to live for You in this world.

Remind me today, Father, to always depend on You in all my decisions, even if I think some needs are too small and bothersome. I want to remember that You wish to provide for me in all the little ways, so that when the big challenges of my life come, I will know You will take care of those even more so.

My desire today is to live for Your glory, Jesus!
Amen

Psalm 13:5-6

But I trust in Your unfailing love. I will rejoice because You have rescued me. I will sing to the Lord  because He is good to me.
Psalm 13:5-6

Good Morning Jesus,
Your unfailing love and faithfulness is always such a joy for me. Each morning Your mercies are new and I have a fresh start to glorify You. My past sins and failures are forgotten, it is today that You are interested in, and today I want to bring a smile to Your face!

Through this day, I will trust in You. I know Your love will surround me. I will rejoice and be glad because You have rescued me from myself. How generous You are with Your grace.

I will sing a new song today, so I will remember just how good You are to me.

Please help me to place this scripture on my heart so I will live with the joy of Your love each day.
Amen

John 15:2

He cuts off every branch of Mine that doesn’t produce fruit, and He prunes the branches that do bear fruit so they will produce even more.
John 15:2

 Good Morning Jesus!
I love Your Word this morning, to think of You as my own personal gardener is wonderful. To understand that I am part of Your growing creation is such joy to my heart!

When I realize You’e been digging in the dirt of my life, You see all there is, the good soil, the spoiled soil, the dry spots. You know what needs to be fertilized and what needs to rest. You know where to plant Your seed so it will produce the best fruit. You know how much sun I need, and water it to perfection.

I know my heart, LORD, there are parts of my soil that I like to plant my own seeds in. I tend to them instead of letting You nurture me. I try to grow my own plants. They are feeble and I become frustrated when they fail. Please forgive me, Jesus, help me to yield to Your plan for my life. I humbly bow before You and open my life to have pruned what You know will not grow. Help me to be content, help me to see my direction in You!
Amen

Psalm 62:1

I wait quietly before God, for my victory comes from Him.
Psalm 62:1

Good Morning Father,
I love being with You in the mornings like this Abba. You are so precious to me and Your peace is my strength. You are my God and I want to tell everyone I meet today just how wonderful You are.

It seems like things are way to busy right now, LORD. I feel like I’m living from one crisis to another. One project right to another. I can’t say I like living this way, Father, but I’m not sure how to slow down.

That’s why it’s so important and wonderful to be with You this morning. Just to be quiet, read Your Word and talk with You. I need You to show me what my priorities are and to let the rest go. I need Your direction for my life.

So help me to just be still now and be with You.
Amen

Psalm 92:1-2

It is good to give thanks to the Lord, to sing praises to the Most High. It is good to proclaim Your unfailing love in the morning, Your faithfulness in the evening,
Psalm 92:1-2

Good Morning Jesus,
How blessed I am to have You as my King. I love You so very much, and I delight in spending this time with You today.

I am so thankful to be growing closer to You, Jesus.
I am so thankful for my precious family and friends.
My words can’t even begin to express how my heart feels.

It’s been a rough week, LORD. Many ups and downs, twists and turns. Yet, You have been faithful to me through it all. I love You so very, very much. You have been with me and given me Your peace, thank You.

I want to proclaim Your unfailing love all through the morning and tonight I will thank You for your faithfulness.

You are my Kind and I love You!
Amen

Psalm 37:4-5

Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you your heart’s desires. Commit everything you do to the Lord. Trust him, and he will help you.
Psalm 37:4-5

Good Morning Abba,
I seem to be a bit tired this morning. I thank You for the night’s rest and even though it didn’t seem long enough, it will be good for the day. You know my exact needs and provide for them.

The Christmas season is right on us Father. I want so much for this year to be different. I don’t want to get spread too thin, stressed to grumpiness, and not enjoy You every moment. Remind me that Christmas is all about You and to take special pleasure knowing You are with me through the days to come. I want my relationship with You to grow over the next few weeks.

So as I set out to prepare for the special day, help me to keep in mind to commit it to You. Remind me to ask if this would please You, to give a person a gift. Then show me the gift I can give them.

You have already gifted me with so much, not only physical gifts, but the gift of Your presence. I am blessed beyond belief to have You in my life!

I love You, Father!
Amen

Haggai 2:9

The future glory of this Temple will be greater than its past glory, says the LORD of Heaven’s Armies. And in this place I will bring peace. I, the LORD of Heaven’s Armies, have spoken!”
Haggai 2:9

Good Morning My Wonderful Father!
I am so glad You are God and I am not. I know I don’t always work that way, there are many times I think I know better and forget to ask for Your direction or just plow ahead and do what I know is not going to please You. Please forgive me, I truly want to be more obedient, but my flesh is so strong at times, and I don’t even think about the out come.

I guess I need to be more in Your Word and talking with You so I will be reminded You know best and to follow Your leading.

I love Your Word this morning, Father. I know in Haggai’s time the people were thinking about Your Temple, the man made one. They loved their Temple, it was a visible place they knew their invisible God lived.

How I love they way You word things, I know Your future Temple, on this side of the cross, is me. I am now the God created Temple and in me You live. You bring me peace when there is none. I know peace when I can’t see any in this world. Your very essence is peace and love in my life, and I adore You.

Yet, I am aware that the future Temple, Your glorious heavenly Temple, is where all Your children will live when You come to judge and set things right. That one will be amazingly awesome, beyond explanation and wonder!

Remind me You live in Your Temple LORD. You have come to make my life Your life, Your joy is my joy. Oh, how I love You!
Amen

1 Chronicles 16:11-12

Search for the Lord and for His strength; continually seek Him. Remember the wonders He has performed, His miracles, and the rulings He has given,
1 Chronicles 16:11-12

Morning My LORD!
I thank You for the rest I received last night. I thank You for the morning sun and the promise of a new day. Your faithfulness is in every moment of every day. What a wonder that You desire to spend time with me. I praise You for this time I can spend with You before the day begins.

The days are busy now, LORD, even though I’m trying not to over commit myself. I need You to guard my time so I don’t get over tired and stressed. I am learning that when I get that way, I’m not the best for Your glory to work in me.

As I go through this day, Father, I want to look for You in everyone I meet. I would like to remember this as my priority for the day.

As I search Your Word this morning, please give me a little present that I’ve never seen before and take joy that You have given it to me.

You are my precious LORD and I want to please You with my ways. I need You so desperately and will seek You through the day.
Amen
