Deuteronomy 33:27

The eternal God is your refuge, and His everlasting arms are under you.
He drives out the enemy before you; He cries out, ‘Destroy them!’
Deuteronomy 33:27

Good Morning My Love,
I feel a bit run down and tired this morning. I thank You for the rest I received, help me please to get awake and see the glory of Your morning with You.

I am so grateful that You are my refuge and shelter. It seems like so much in the world is against me, I struggle with getting depressed and the feeling of hopelessness. But You, my Abba, are always with me, Your mighty strong arms are not only around me, they are under me to catch me when I fall. If I will let You, You will keep me safe and secure in Your presence.

Please forgive me, Father, I don’t always trust You or even think to call on You through the day. I get so wrapped up in me, what’s happening to me and how I feel. Give me Your sight today, LORD, and help me step out of myself and see the world around me through Your eyes. Remind me it’s not all about me and that You will take care of everything, I need to look for others to share Your love with.

You are my refuge, my strength and I love You with my life!
Amen

1 Chronicles 29:11

Yours, O LORD, is the greatness, the power, the glory, the victory, and the majesty. Everything in the heavens and on earth is Yours, O LORD, and this is Your kingdom. We adore You as the one who is over all things.
1 Chronicles 29:11

Good Morning LORD,
Wow! It’s chilly this morning Father! But to be in Your presence will give me the warmth in my heart to face the day. Sitting with You now, gives me light for whatever the day will hold. I am so honored You are here.

Your Word this morning, Father, is one of the most wonderful verses I can think on today.

You my mighty King, You are the Creator of all I can see. Your power and majesty formed this world I live in, Your great Name is my strength and fortress. You have the glory and victory for all my life holds and I truly adore You.

Your Kingdom, Father, is wherever You live. I know that You want to live with me, but, I don’t always remember that it will make me part of Your Kingdom! Your Kingdom has come to earth and I have the privilege to be active in Your courts!

Your Kingdom came as the little baby whose birth I’m celebrating this month. I want to shout to the world this morning Father, that Jesus is my Savior and I adore Him!
Amen

Colossians 3:17

And whatever you do or say, do it as a representative of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him to God the Father.
Colossians 3:17

Good Morning My Wonderful Father!
Will I always be amazed at the joy of being with You each morning? I pray that I will never grow tired of coming to You and spending these moments, loving and praising You!

It’s the season to be jolly, LORD. But not everyone is jolly, in fact many are getting grumpy and stressed. Many are lonely and without hope. Many are hungry and there’s no food.

As I go out today, please be with me constantly and keep my mind on those who need Christmas hope. You tell me this morning that I am Your representative here in my part of the world. I am to be Your ambassador, Your lamp. To be truthful, LORD, I don’t always feel up to the task. As I see people today, remind me I don’t have to be up to the task, all I need to be is the conduit for You to pass through me. I need to be obedient and willing to bow to Your desire, to be useful to You for this or that person. Please give me Your strength, courage and most of all to love and to shine Your hope for this world!
I love You, Father!
Amen

Colossians 1:22

Yet now He has reconciled you to Himself through the death of Christ in His physical body. As a result, He has brought you into His own presence, and you are holy and blameless as you stand before Him without a single fault.
Colossians 1:22

Morning Jesus,
How You knew I needed this verse today. I feel like I have let You down, turned away from You and brought sadness to Your heart. Please forgive me, I need a Savior, I need You.

Help me to claim this promise this morning; You have brought me into Your presence, and You have made me holy and blameless as You stand beside me. You don’t see my faults, You see the person I can become.

Thank You so much for Your saving Grace. Thank You for the encouragement You have blessed me with today. Help me to remember: I am Yours.
Amen

Luke 2:7

And she gave birth to her firstborn son and wrapped Him in swaddling cloths and laid Him in a manger, because there was no place for them in the inn.
Luke 2:7

Good Morning Jesus!
What a wonderful start to the day. The sun is up and shining, the beauty of the earth surrounds me and You have greeted me with Your love this morning. How amazingly blessed I am!

As the season moves forward, LORD, I’ve been thinking more about the scripture that describes Your birth. I’ve read it so many times, but each time there seems to be something that will catch my attention and make me think.

Today, Jesus, it’s the fact that there wasn’t any lodging for Your earthly parents when they got to Bethlehem. I realized this morning that they wouldn’t have been the only ones without shelter. The census had caused many to be traveling. So were there others in the stable with them?

The other thing I thought of was the census. Augustus wanted to know how much more he could tax the people. Did Your parents wonder if they would be able to afford the new taxes, what did the future hold?

Both of those thoughts, LORD, make me realize how Your Word still speaks to me in this day. With being busy, I don’t always make room for You in the day. The season is about You, but at times I forget that. Help me today to make more room for You in my daily activities.

And, the unknown of what the world holds. It gives me great concern, will I be able to deal with the changes? What does the future hold for me?

What joy to be in Your presence, because with You I can do whatever You ask. With You I have hope for my future.

I will walk with You, You have made room for me in Your life, help me to make room for You in mine. I will trust You with my future. I will live in the joy of Your presence!
Amen

Colossians 3:15

And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. For as members of one body you are called to live in peace. And always be thankful.
Colossians 3:15

Good Morning My LORD,
How wonderful You are to wake me every morning with a gentle thought. You are often the first thing I think of when I wake and what a joy it is. It’s so great to realize You are with me even before I look decent!

It’s getting crazy with the holidays, Jesus, and I didn’t want this to happen. I wanted to be more at peace and less stressed than I am now. Why do I always let this happen?

As I get tired I seem to argue with my family and friends more and I see the hurt in their eyes. I need You right now to help me. Please forgive me again for over doing and not listening to You.

As I sit here this morning, I look forward to having You wash me in Your peace and presence. Let me know it’s not too late to change. Give me hope for this day.

Jesus, I am so thankful for You, for my family, friends and those I will meet today. Keep me here until I am full of Your peace so I can share it with them. Please rule my heart with Your wisdom and love.
Amen

Hebrews 12:28

Since we are receiving a Kingdom that is unshakable, let us be thankful and please God by worshiping Him with holy fear and awe.
Hebrews 12:28

Good Morning My Awesome King!
Today is the day that You have made and I want to be glad and rejoice in You!

How blessed I am, Father, to live in this country that I can worship You today. I have the freedom to proclaim You as my LORD and Savior. I have the opportunity to come together with others and lift Your Name on high. How blessed I am.

I know Your Kingdom is on a solid rock foundation. I know everything else will fade away, but You will remain forever. I want to worship You with all my heart and soul and strength this day! I want to enjoy worshipping You with others. I want everyone to know that I am Your child!

But, You also remind me, Father, that not everyone has such privileges, some worship You in secret, some are hiding as they worship, some are even persecuted as they love You. Please be with my faith family today around the world, surround them with Your presence and let them know that You have joy in their lives.

Please help all of Your children to realize that You are our unshakable King and Your Word is strong enough for all of us to stand on!
Amen

1 Chronicles 23:30

And each morning and evening they stood before the Lord to sing songs of thanks and praise to Him.
1 Chronicles 23:30

Good Morning Father!
I’m awake, not moving overly great yet, but I’m excited to be with You this morning. You give me purpose to live and reason to get out of bed each morning. I want to praise You all day long!

Father, thank You so much for the Christmas music I’ve been hearing. Through song, Your Son’s birth is told, through praises I will lift His Name on high, in worship I will bow before You and claim You as my King!

I don’t always sing great with my voice, Father, but You who searches my heart, knows that my soul wants to give You the sweet sound of love.

Remind me, that I don’t have to be in church to worship You. I can focus on Your presence anytime and give You the glory You so deserve. I can worship You as I clean house, sit in my yard, or while I’m driving.

And tonight, Father, remind me to come before You and give thanks for Your caring presence of me today. You are my love!
Amen

John 10:27

My sheep listen to My voice; I know them, and they follow Me
John 10:27

Good Morning My Jesus!
I am in awe this morning of Your faithfulness to me. You wake me each morning, guide me through the day and provide the rest I need at night. You tell me You will take care of my needs and are delighted to give me my heart’s desire. I love You so very, very much!

When I think about the shepherds taking care of their sheep, I love the fact that the shepherds are always talking to them, from the moment of their birth. They sooth them when they are frightened, and nudge them back into the group when they wander.

Your Word this morning tells me I am Your sheep and I love that thought. You have been talking to me since I was born. You have loved me and nurtured me as I grow. You continue to guide me and sooth me.

But do I always hear You? I have to confess I don’t. I don’t listen for You as I know I could. I need You to help me hear You, Jesus, through Your Word, in my thoughts and through others comments. Please give me Your discernment to know Your voice through all the other voices I hear. I want so desperately to follow You today, You are the love of my life!Amen

Deuteronomy 4:7

For what great nation has a god as near to them as the Lord our God is near to us whenever we call on Him?
Deuteronomy 4:7

Morning Jesus,
Have I told You lately just how much I love You? You are the very center of my life and I praise You for being my God!

What a special verse You gave me this morning. I know I say each morning that the verse is special, but this one warmed my heart.

When I stop and ponder on the fact that You are God, the Creator and Sustainer of the Universe and all that it holds, it is more than my mind can comprehend. How great and wonderful You are!

Then to realize that You are near when I call humbles my heart and I kneel in love before You. My call doesn’t even have to be verbal! You know my heart and soul even better than I do. Sometimes that’s an uncomfortable thought, but You love me in spite of all my shortcomings.

I do adore You, Jesus. Thank You for being with me this morning.
Amen
