Morning Jesus,

How wonderful You are to give me Your Word. I’m not sure I completely realize just how blessed I am to own my own Bible. I also know I don’t open it as often as You would desire, or make a place for Your Word in my heart and life. Please forgive me and help me to absorb it into my spirit.

I thank You, Jesus, for coming to this earth, stepping down into Your creation, to show me how I should live. You are so gracious and merciful. I must confess, I’m guilty of not being always kind to my family and friends. You desire a lifestyle like Yours. I’m guilty of living my own lifestyle and then asking You to accommodate Yourself into my life. I need Your forgiveness, LORD. I need a refreshment in how to live for You.

Today would You please remind me to imitate You in all I do? Remind me I am Your ambassador in this land and others may never come to know You except through me.

Remind me I am Your child and I praise You for loving me.

Morning Jesus

What an amazing LORD You are! Your faithfulness spans the generations and You are always the same. I stand in awe at Your love!

I love Your Word this morning, You call the sun to rise and You visit me every morning. You have made creation to remind me every morning of Your faithfulness and how You love me. All I have to do is open my eyes and see. 

Help me today to see You in everything around me. Help me to praise You all day long. Help me to shine Your light into the dark world around me.

You are my love and I thank you for greeting me this morning with Your sunrise!

Long ago the LORD said to Israel: “I have loved you, My people, with an everlasting love. With unfailing love I have drawn you to Myself.
Jeremiah 31:3

Morning my King,

You have been in the business of drawing me to You my whole life. You have loved me before I was conceived, You have loved me even when I hurt Your heart. Your love is so much more than I will ever understand and I’m so full of joy that You are my God! I stand in awe of Your faithfulness.

I don’t know what will come of this day, LORD, but I will trust You, knowing You have nothing but the best in mind for me. Even if it doesn’t seem to be the way I would have wanted, I will trust You.

What I do want of this day, Father, is to proclaim Your glory to all I meet. Even if I don’t say a word, I would ask that You will shine Your presence and let people know You are pursuing them, to draw them to Yourself. Let them see You before they see me.

You are the joy of my life!

Good Morning My Dear Savior,

Thank you for the majesty of the sunset last night and the softness of the sunrise this morning. Your skies speak of Your glory and yet I know You are so much more than that. 

When I stop and think about the Universe You created and how big and beautiful and harsh it is, I am awed by Your power. Then, when I think of the delicate wings of a butterfly, my eyes fill with tears at Your gentleness. You are so much more than this finite mind can understand.

You know me, Jesus. You know the burdens I carry and how I like to give them to You and then take them back. Please forgive me for not being able to leave them at Your feet. Help me to learn to trust You with them, that You will take care of my problems, I just have to be still and know You are God. You know so much better how to handle challenges than I do, please help me to open my hands and let them fall to the ground. You have so much more for me to do today than think on the concerns that I can’t do a thing about.

I want to think on You today, my Companion, to treasure all You have given me, to just be with You!

I want you all to know about the miraculous signs and wonders the Most High God has performed for me. How great are His signs, how powerful His wonders! His kingdom will last forever, His rule through all generations.
Daniel 4:2-3

Good Morning My LORD,

I am always at awe at Your beauty. To see You wake the mountains with a ray of sun is wonderful. You paint the sky with soft clouds and give the air a sweet scent. Wherever I look, I will see You.

I hear the birds sing Your glory and the butterflies kiss each flower they visit. Nature is part of Your creation and I adore You for showing it to me.

I want others to know how wonderful You are, LORD. I want them to see You throughout their day. How do I let tell them about You? How do I proclaim Your glory for them to see?

I know You want everyone to see Your mighty and miraculous ways in this world. I also know that You have blessed me to see You, so I can tell others about Your love for them. I’m not sure how to go about this, Father, help me to find my niche and then begin the joy of sharing You with others.

Remind me that how I go about sharing You will be different from others. We have been created to glorify You. I want this, my wonderful King, to discover  my purpose in this life. To give You all the praise and love I can. Please, let me walk with You today!

Morning Jesus,

I thank and praise You for waking me to Your presence this morning. You are my God and I will always sing about Your glory.

You know me, Jesus, I always seem to be in a hurry. Not always with what I’m doing each day, but with my spiritual life. I always want to be more and grow fast. I’m not as patient as I know You want me to be.

You always amaze me, my LORD, at how You guide and keep me growing at Your pace. When I run ahead, You call me back to the right path.  When I tend to delay, You encourage me with Your nudges to move forward. You are so perfect and loving and I adore You my King!

If you look for Me wholeheartedly, you will find Me.

Morning my wonderful Jesus,

You are so special to me. You know where I am at all times, not only physically but spiritually. You are with me when I lay down and when I rise. You are always calling to me, asking me to come close and spend time with You. I love You so very much.

So much of my time, LORD, I’m not looking for Your presence in my life and the lives of my family and friends. When I do stop to look for You, I don’t always understand how You are working. Please forgive me when I try to put You in a box and expect You to work the way I think You should. Open my eyes, LORD, and help me to see You in others lives and my own. Show me where I need to change my outlook and focus into Your vision. Help me to look for You today with all my heart and soul!

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be My witnesses, telling people about me everywhere—in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.
Acts 1:8

Good Morning Jesus,

To be truthful this morning, I really didn’t want to get out of bed. It was so warm and comfortable and I just didn’t feel fully rested. Yet, You were with me and encouraged me to get up and spend this time with You.

You know my heart, Jesus, and you know how I feel about being Your witness. In this world it can be very scary. I’m never sure what to say or what to do. What if someone asks a question I can’t answer? What if they contradict what I say? What if someone thinks I’m strange?

I just realize what I’ve been saying, that what I’m concerned about is me. Please forgive me, LORD. It has never been about me, it’s all about You.

You will give me the words to speak, and the actions to show Your love. You will provide the wisdom for me and help me to answer the question. Remind me that I will never know it all, and that’s okay.  And who cares if someone thinks I’m strange? What matters the most to me is what You think of me.

Thank You, Jesus, for listening to me this morning. I will trust You to guide me to be Your witness. I ask that You will shine through me today.

Good Morning Jesus,

I praise You for being here with me this morning. It is Your heart’s desire to spend time with me, teaching me and guiding my life. Thank You for this precious time together.

You are my salvation. You open my eyes to know that I am a sinner. And as a sinner, I need a redeemer. I need You!

Not only for the cleansing of my sins, but to live this live with joy and expectation. Around every corner, I wait with excitement to see where You will be leading me. You are my heart.

I want to drink deeply of Your Word this morning. I want to know all that I can, to be all I can, to glorify You in my part of this world. I desire to have others know of Your amazing love!

Morning My Creator!

How wonderful to sit with you this morning, to watch the world awake, to see the beautiful sunrise and to just be with You. I am blessed and honored and humbled that You would desire to be here with me.

I know, Father, that You alone are God. There is no other like You. You are so caring and kind, yet You call me to be Holy like You. Sometimes I need discipline to get back on track or stay on track with You. Although I don’t like discipline, I praise You for loving me so much and seeing the need for it, that You provide for all I need to grow in You.

When I think on Your creation, Father, I can’t even begin to know Your greatness. I see only a small part of this world, I see only the beauty of my small living space, but when my minds eye takes a trip, my breath is taken away. I thank You for pictures and space telescopes that help me see just a bit more of Your creation. The immensity of the Universe is amazing and we know so little about it.

You not only created all of this, You sustain it from moment to moment. Your power is beyond anything man could ever understand. All You ask from us is to know You are God.

I want to sing Your praises today, Father. I want to shine Your love into this world and glorify You. Most of all I want to know You more today than I did yesterday. I love You so very much!
