Good Morning Jesus,
To be truthful this morning, I really didn’t want to get out of bed. It was so warm and comfortable and I just didn’t feel fully rested. Yet, You were with me and encouraged me to get up and spend this time with You.
You know my heart, Jesus, and you know how I feel about being Your witness. In this world it can be very scary. I’m never sure what to say or what to do. What if someone asks a question I can’t answer? What if they contradict what I say? What if someone thinks I’m strange?
I just realize what I’ve been saying, that what I’m concerned about is me. Please forgive me, LORD. It has never been about me, it’s all about You.
You will give me the words to speak, and the actions to show Your love. You will provide the wisdom for me and help me to answer the question. Remind me that I will never know it all, and that’s okay.  And who cares if someone thinks I’m strange? What matters the most to me is what You think of me.
Thank You, Jesus, for listening to me this morning. I will trust You to guide me to be Your witness. I ask that You will shine through me today.

Joshua 22:5

Good Morning My LORD,
It’s a beautiful morning to be here with You. The freshness of the day is a sweet smell and I just want to sit and enjoy Your company.
Father, I want to much to please You. I want to walk in Your ways, to obey Your commands, but I’m weak and faithless. I fail You so often through the day. I get so frustrated with myself. Please forgive me.
When I fall, please help me up and give me the courage to start all over again. Please give me Your strength to turn away from my sin and walk in Your footsteps. I love You so much, my Father, You are the source of my life and I will cling to You today.
As I go about my duties of the day, help me to remember I am serving You and by loving those you bring into my life. Help me to show them Your compassion. I want to glorify You!

Instead, you must worship Christ as Lord of your life. And if someone asks about your Christian hope, always be ready to explain it.

Good Morning Jesus,
I’m finally up early enough to watch the sunrise with You. It’s always a peaceful time of the day, to watch the world around me wake and to just be with You.
Jesus, I’ve not though about my life as worship to You. It always seems to be on Sundays, or special times, but my everyday life?
I know you’ve always taught me to be ready to explain You to those who ask why I am the way I am, I think I’m ready for that, but worship You with my life?
Help me to think on that today Jesus, to realize that the way I live my life means more than the words I speak. If I’m living to glorify You, then when people ask, I don’t have to explain much but just tell them how I love You!
Thank You Jesus for bring this to my mind today. I want this day forward for my life, my total life, to be an expression of worship, saying I love my LORD with all my heart, mind, and soul!

1 Thessalonians 3:12

Good Morning Jesus,
What a delight and wonder to be here with You this morning. You help me wake up, You prepare me for the day to come, but most of all, You love me as I am.
I know that before You came to be the King of my soul, I was selfish, more selfish than I still am. You have shown me how to love and serve others, You have shown me how to be Your servant.
What I am most amazed about, Jesus, is how You have poured Your love into me so I can love others with Your love. Those people who I thought I could never even like, I’ve learned to love them! You are amazing.
Yet, I know Jesus, that for me to continue loving them, I need to be continually with You. I need the river of Your love flowing into me so I don’t become stagnate.
I want to overflow with Your love for all the people that I meet today. I want them to get to know You personally. You are my Love!

Psalm 58:16

But as for me, I will sing about Your power. Each morning I will sing with joy about Your unfailing love. For You have been my refuge, a place of safety when I am in distress.

Good Morning Yahweh,
How wonderful it is to wake each morning in Your presence. You are my everlasting love and Your faithfulness to me is so much more than I deserve.
My heart is at peace while I sit with You. So much in my life seems to be uncertain. New things are developing, changes greet me around each turn, and I just don’t seem to understand where You are leading me. I kind of feel like I’m in limbo right now and don’t know which way to turn.
But while I wait for You my dear King, I will sing today about Your power and glory in my life. I will be joyful and tell everyone about the love You pour on me. Each time I feel unsure, I will run to You, for You are my safe refuge. When things feel uncertain, I will come to You, as I know, my heart is at peace while I sit with You.

Romans 1:2-4

God promised this Good News long ago through His prophets in the Holy Scriptures. The Good News is about His Son. In His earthly life He was born into King David’s family line, and He was shown to be the Son of God when He was raised from the dead by the power of the Holy Spirit. He is Jesus Christ our Lord.
Romans 1:2-4
Good Morning Jesus,
Thank You for the sunrise this morning. The sky is clear, but it was a soft and peaceful greeting of the sun. It’s a promise to me that You will be here today and I can have this privilege to be with You!
Your Word this morning makes my heart sing. It also makes me thankful to be living on this side of the cross. Before You came to earth, people knew You would come someday. They waited their whole lives for You. They looked to the future to see Your glory.
How blessed I am to have You here with me right now. I know the Good News and it’s You! All the prophecies about You came true, being born into the linage of David, being crucified and raised from the dead by the power of the Spirit, everything that was said about You is true.
Now we look to the future again, to see when You will come in all Your glory. Yet, Jesus, I want to remember that You are already here, living in me, proclaiming You are God. I guess I need to remember that the future is now.
So today, remind me often, please, that You want people to know they too can have Your presence in their lives. You desire to be with everyone. Please give me the words and actions to show the people I come in contact with Your love, so they too can come into Your presence.
And, help me to remember that what was said about You in the past was true, just as what is said for the future, it too, will also be true.
Love You Jesus!

Psalm 92:8
Good Morning My Wonderful Love,
How great You are to be so faithful to someone like me. Every morning You wake me with Your love and each night I fall to sleep in Your peace. You are everything to me.
Your Word this morning Father, is so simple and yet so mighty. Everything on this earth will fall away, but You will remain. The universe could dissolve, but You will always be God.
Not only will You always be, You will be exalted. Since You designed mankind, Your Name has been spoken. Since You have revealed Yourself, Your Name has been lifted up.
Now it’s my turn. I have the honor to proclaim Your greatness.
You, O LORD, will be exalted forever!

James 1:17-18

Whatever is good and perfect comes down to us from God our Father, who created all the lights in the heavens. He never changes or casts a shifting shadow. He chose to give birth to us by giving us His true word. And we, out of all creation, became His prized possession.
James 1:17-18
Good Morning Jesus,
Your faithfulness to greet me each morning is such a delight to my heart.
Getting out of bed is so much easier when I know You are waiting for me.
How blessed I am to know that You are the same yesterday as You are today and will be tomorrow. You don’t change, You are my solid foundation.
How blessed I am to have Your Word. Please give me a desire to place it on my heart and to live it in my life. I want to hunger and thirst for Your wisdom.
I am so humbled and honored my Jesus, that You would consider me a prized possession.
I feel so unworthy of Your love and care, yet, I know I can’t live without it.
How blessed I am to know Your love!

Exodus 28:29

“In this way, Aaron will carry the names of the tribes of Israel on the sacred chest-piece over his heart when he goes into the Holy Place. This will be a continual reminder that he represents the people when he comes before the Lord.

Good Morning Jesus!
You are my magnificent and wonderful God. You are the reason I live and love. You have given purpose to my life as no one else ever could. You are with me always and I have the security to know that You will
never, ever leave me. I praise You today with all I am.
I love Your Word this morning, Jesus. It just jumped off the page and into my heart. I am coming to know You as a God who loves detail. The small stuff matters to You. That’s how You have worked in my heart,
You have taken care of the small things, so I will trust You in the big things to come.
I read this morning, that You commanded the sacred chest-piece with the names of the tribes inscribed on it, to be carried over Aaron’s heart. It was because the High Priest was to be reminded that he represented the people before You. As I read, I realized that this is the same way You carry my name! I am there, inscribed on Your heart! I am humbled that You would love me so.
Jesus, I would ask this morning that You would inscribe the names of those I need to share You with on my heart. I want them to come to know and love You as You grow in their lives.
You are such a joy to me Jesus!

Deuteronomy 32:4

He is the Rock; His deeds are perfect. Everything He does is just and fair. He is a faithful God who does no wrong; how just and upright He is!
Deuteronomy 32:4
Good Morning Jesus!
I can’t begin to say just how much You mean to me. I praise You for knowing my heart, so You know my love. You are the Master of the Universe and all that it holds, yet You are here with me this morning. Thank You.
I am so glad to know that You are my Rock, Jesus. When I stand on Your shoulders I cannot be shaken. You put my feet on level ground as Your Word penetrates my life. It’s not always easy, LORD, but I thank You for Your strength to get me through.
You are just and fair, even when it doesn’t feel like it. I can trust Your ways, knowing that You have only good for me.
Your faithfulness is always amazing to me Jesus. Just when I need a word of encouragement or discipline, You provide it at the perfect time. You have such a wonderful way of keeping my on Your path and I praise You for that.
When I walk with You each day, I know I bring a smile to Your face and joy to Your heart. There is nothing more I want today than to please You, my King!
