1 Chronicles 16:8

Give thanks to the LORD and proclaim His greatness. Let the whole world know what He has done.
1 Chronicles 16:8

Good Morning Father,
How sweet it is to be with You before the day gets crazy. How wonderful You are to take time to be with me. Every morning I am so astounded that I can have time with You. I love You!

You have done so much in my life, LORD, I want to tell everyone I meet today. So many don’t know how lost I was before You claimed me as Your child. I had no direction for my life, no hope for the future.

Then You came to me and my heart soars to think of that day. You have washed me with Your blood, cleansed me of my sins and drawn me to Your heart. It’s so hard for me to understand Your love, the extent You went to, for a sinner like me.

Give me courage and the right words to proclaim Your greatness today Father. I do want everyone to know just how wonderful and great You are!
Amen

1 Chronicles 29:11

Yours, O LORD, is the greatness, the power, the glory, the victory, and the majesty. Everything in the heavens and on earth is Yours, O LORD, and this is Your kingdom. We adore You as the one who is over all things.
1 Chronicles 29:11

Good Morning LORD,
Wow! It’s chilly this morning Father! But to be in Your presence will give me the warmth in my heart to face the day. Sitting with You now, gives light for whatever the day will hold. I am so honored You are here.

Your Word this morning, Father, is one of the most wonderful verses I can think on today.

You my mighty King, You are the Creator of all I can see. Your power and majesty formed this world I live in, Your great Name is my strength and fortress. You have the glory and victory for all my life holds and I truly adore You.

Your Kingdom, Father, is wherever You live. I know that You want to live with me, but, I don’t always remember that it will make me part of Your Kingdom! Your Kingdom has come to earth and I have the privilege to be active in Your courts!

Your Kingdom came as the little baby whose birth I’m celebrating this month. I want to shout to the world this morning Father, that Jesus is my Savior and I adore Him!
Amen

1 Corinthians 10:12 MSG

“Don’t be so naive and self-confident. You’re not exempt. You could fall flat on your face as easily as anyone else. Forget about self-confidence; it’s useless. Cultivate God-confidence.”
1 Corinthians 10:12 MSG

Good Morning Jesus!
We’re well into the holidays now and I am enjoying Your presence more than I ever have before. I know You are walking with me and guiding my feet. I know You are the light in my heart and I praise You for being my LORD.

Jesus, as the days go on, please help me. I don’t want to place myself in the way of temptation. I know You are asking me to not eat as much this year, spend less and not be going every where. I’m really trying to follow Your choices, LORD, but it’s really hard right now. Everyone wants to shower me with sweets. My shopping list is getting longer instead of shorter. The demands on my time are getting more persistent. I need You to help me!

Here I thought I was being confident in You but I realize it’s only been confidence in myself. Your Word this morning reminded me I am not above temptation and I can’t face it alone.

Today, when temptations of the holidays come, help me to look to You. You are so much greater and stronger than what I can face in this world. Help me to remember that and to build on my God-confidence!

Love You LORD!
Amen

Psalm 119:33-34

Teach me your decrees, O Lord; I will keep them to the end. Give me understanding and I will obey Your instructions; I will put them into practice with all my heart.
Psalm 119:33-34

Good Morning My LORD,
It’s good to be with You again today. I so enjoy how You greet me and encourage me to spend some time with You.

It seems like the time is getting to be an issue, LORD. I didn’t want to be so locked into the tight time schedule this season, but I haven’t been able to slow down. I need You so much at this time of the year. I need to remember that You came to show me how to live. You came to be my Savior. You came to love me and ask that I have a personal relationship with You.

It’s my heart’s desire, Father, to learn how You should live for You. Teach me Your ways, I want to keep them, even if I feel I always slip in living them.

Please give me understanding this morning, while I read Your Word. Please give me a golden nugget to think on today and cherish in my heart.

I want You to be pleased with my life, I want to glorify You today!
I love You, Father!
Amen

Deuteronomy 33:27

The eternal God is your refuge, and His everlasting arms are under you. He drives out the enemy before you; He cries out, ‘Destroy them!’
Deuteronomy 33:27

Good Morning My Love,
I feel a bit run down and tired this morning. I thank You for the rest I received, help me please to get awake and see the glory of Your morning with You.

I am so grateful that You are my refuge and shelter. It seems like so much in the world is against me, I struggle with getting depressed and the feeling of hopelessness. But You, my Abba, are always with me, Your mighty strong arms are not only around me, they are under me to catch me when I fall. If I will let You, You will keep me safe and secure in Your presence.

Please forgive me, Father, I don’t always trust You or even think to call on You through the day. I get so wrapped up in me, what’s happening to me and how I feel. Give me Your sight today, LORD, and help me step out of myself and see the world around me through Your eyes. Remind me it’s not all about me, remind me that You will take care of everything, I need to look for others to share Your love with.

You are my refuge, my strength and I love You with my life!
Amen

Colossians 3:17

And whatever you do or say, do it as a representative of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him to God the Father.
Colossians 3:17

Good Morning My Wonderful Father!
Will I always be amazed at the joy of being with You each morning? I pray that I will never grow tired of coming to You and spending these moments, loving and praising You!

It’s the season to be jolly, LORD. But not everyone is jolly, in fact many are getting grumpy and stressed. Many are lonely and without hope. Many are hungry and there’s no food.

As I go out today, please be with me constantly and keep my mind on those who need Christmas hope. You tell me this morning that I am Your representative here in my part of the world. I am to be Your ambassador, Your lamp. To be truthful, LORD, I don’t always feel up to the task. As I see people today, remind me I don’t have to be up to the task, all I need to be is the conduit for You to pass through me. I need to be obedient and willing to bow to Your desire, to be useful to You for this or that person. Please give me Your strength, courage and most of all to love and to shine Your hope for this world!

I love You, Father!
Amen

John 17:17

Make them holy by Your truth; teach them Your word, which is truth.
John 17:17

Good Morning My Love!
How wonderful to see the sunrise with You this morning. I love to watch the mountain tops as they come to life, as the sun rays kiss them. You are so extremely gentle as You wake Your creation. The passionate love You have for all Your creation, makes me drop to my knees and worship You.

Jesus, I want to know Your truth, I want to discover what Your thoughts are, not what I’ve been told down through the centuries. Help me to understand Your Word with new insights that only You can give. I don’t want to read anything into Your scripture, but I also don’t want to miss what You are saying to me. Help me to slow down this morning as I read and catch all Your truth.

Help me today to know and practice one of the truths in Your Word, the truth that You want to me love everyone, with genuine love, Your love.
Amen

Colossians 1:22

Yet now He has reconciled you to Himself through the death of Christ in His physical body. As a result, He has brought you into His own presence, and you are holy and blameless as you stand before Him without a single fault.
Colossians 1:22

Morning Jesus,
How You knew I needed this verse today. I feel like I have let You down, turned away from You and brought sadness to Your heart. Please forgive me, I need a Savior, I need You.

Help me to claim this promise this morning; You have brought me into Your presence, and You have made me holy and blameless as You stand beside me. You don’t see my faults, You see the person I can become.

Thank You so much for Your saving Grace. Thank You for the encouragement You have blessed me with today. Help me to remember: I am Yours.
Amen

Luke 2:7

And she gave birth to her firstborn son and wrapped Him in swaddling cloths and laid Him in a manger, because there was no place for them in the inn.
Luke 2:7

Good Morning Jesus!
What a wonderful start to the day. The sun is up and shining, the beauty of the earth surrounds me and You have greeted me with Your love this morning. How amazingly blessed I am!

As the season moves forward, LORD, I’ve been thinking more about the scripture that describes Your birth. I’ve read it so many times, but each time there seems to be something that will catch my attention and make me think.

Today, Jesus, it’s the fact that there wasn’t any lodging for Your earthly parents when they got to Bethlehem. I realized this morning that they wouldn’t have been the only ones without shelter. The census had caused many to be traveling. So were there others in the stable with them?

The other thing I thought of was the census. Augustus wanted to know how much more he could tax the people. Did Your parents wonder if they would be able to afford the new taxes, what did the future hold?

Both of those thoughts, LORD, make me realize how Your Word still speaks to me in this day. With being busy, I don’t always make room for You in the day. The season is about You, but at times I forget that. Help me today to make more room for You in my daily activities.

And, the unknown of what the world holds. It gives me great concern, will I be able to deal with the changes? What does the future hold for me?

What joy to be in Your presence, because with You I can do whatever You ask. With You I have hope for my future.

Today I will walk with You, You have made room for me in Your life, help me to make room for You in mine. I will trust You with my future. I will live in the joy of Your presence!
Amen

Colossians 3:15

And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. For as members of one body you are called to live in peace. And always be thankful.
Colossians 3:15

Good Morning My LORD,
How wonderful You are to wake me every morning with a gentle thought. You are often the first thing I think of when I wake and what a joy it is. It’s so great to realize You are with me even before I look decent!

It’s getting crazy with the holidays, Jesus, and I didn’t want this to happen. I wanted to be more at peace and less stressed than I am now. Why do I always let this happen?

As I get tired I seem to argue with my family and friends more and I see the hurt in their eyes. I need You right now to help me. Please forgive me again for over doing and not listening to You.

As I sit here this morning, I look forward to having You wash me in Your peace and presence. Let me know it’s not too late to change. Give me hope for this day.

Jesus, I am so thankful for You, for my family, friends and those I will meet today. Keep me here until I am full of Your peace so I can share it with them. Please rule my heart with Your wisdom and love.
Amen
