Colossians 3:13

Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others.
Colossians 3:13

Good Morning Father!
The sunrise this morning was beautiful, yet I know it’s not anywhere as beautiful as You. When my mind takes a tour through Your Universe and I see the magnificence and grandeur of Your work, I know that You are even greater than all I can see. I praise You for letting me see into Your heart.

Jesus, I want to give as much grace to those I meet as You have given to me. Help me to look past the challenges they present and give grace. Help me to see into their hearts and lives and give grace. You are the Grace Giver I want to reflect. I thank You for the mercy You so generously give to me.
Amen

John 17:21

I pray that they will all be one, just as You and I are one—as You are in Me, Father, and I am in You. And may they be in Us so that the world will believe You sent Me.
John 17:21

Good Morning My LORD,
Thank You for the beauty of this morning. I see it through tired eyes, but Your creation still takes my breath away. The crisp, cool air is refreshing and makes my vision so crystal clear.

My vision may be clear this morning, but I know my attitude is not always so. I get frustrated with myself, LORD, when I think my way is the best and other’s are just messing things up. I know You want us to be of one heart and mind, but it’s so hard. I also know You created us, each one to be unique in our own way. So how do we become of one heart and mind?

Help me to think on this today. To truly understand how I can be one with others who claim You as their King, and yet, still be the unique person You created me to be. Help me to see Your purpose for me and to live out that purpose.

I love You Father!
Amen

Exodus 3:14-15

God replied to Moses, “I AM Who I AM. Say this to the people of Israel: I AM has sent me to you.” God also said to Moses, “Say this to the people of Israel: Yahweh, the God of your ancestors—the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob—has sent me to you. This is My eternal name, My name to remember for all generations.
Exodus 3:14-15

Good Morning My Love,
How great You are to me. I will give You praise and glory today for just being my LORD. I want to honor and exult Your presence in my life through every action. I desire for people to see You first and me second.

I love how You spoke with Moses so many years ago. You shared Your name with him and how complete it is: I AM. I am humbled that You would share it with me, Your eternal name, the name for all generations to remember.

Father, I ask for Your forgiveness for the many times I have taken Your name in vain, taken it for granted or not given Your name the honor it deserves. Help me to understand the preciousness of Your name and lift it up on high.

I AM, to be remembered for all generations. There are so many in this world that have never heard of You. Please give me Your strength and courage to tell someone about Your love. Remind me that it will be You speaking through me, and Your Words will bring You glory!
Amen

Psalm 119:18

Open my eyes to see the wonderful truths in Your instructions.
Psalm 119:18

Good Morning Yahweh,
What a wonderful day to wake up with You! You are my Father and I adore You. You are precious to me and I will sing of Your greatness all day long!

Thank You for opening my eyes to Your Spirit. I find I’m beginning to see and think of things in a new and wonderful way. I am seeing You where others only see space. I see Your love in others where some only see people. Thank You for giving me these spiritual eyes.

Help me, Father, please to see into Your Word this morning. I know there will be something exciting and new to understand. As I go through the day, remind me to think on Your truths. As I go through this life, give me the strength to live out Your truths.

I want to please You Father, I want to bring a smile to Your face!
Amen

Luke 13:24

O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the city that kills the prophets and stones God’s messengers! How often I have wanted to gather your children together as a hen protects her chicks beneath her wings, but you wouldn’t let Me.
Luke 13:34

Morning Jesus,
Thank You for this wonderful morning. I had the opportunity to sleep in a bit, and now I’m here with You, watching the world wake.

Your Word this morning made me stop and think. I know I have broken Your heart many times in my life, yet Your mercy keeps flowing into my soul. You know that I’ve tried to choose correctly, but so often ignore Your leading and do it myself. Please, Jesus, forgive me for the hurt I have brought on You.

When You use the word picture of a mother hen covering her chicks under her wings, I have a vision of what that is. She protects them, keeps them warm and dry and will give up her life before she would give up a chick. You tell me that’s the way You want to take care of me. How could I say ‘no’ to that way of living?

But, as with Your people of ages past, I don’t let You. Why am I so stubborn and willful? Why can’t I allow You to do what You so much desire to do, to protect me? Please, Jesus, forgive my actions of doing life alone.

As I go through this day, help me to remember that Your protection is always with me, I just have to move closer to Your heart. You have already given Your life to save mine, please help me to live in that victory.

Thank You so much for being my LORD and Savior. You are the love of my life!
Amen

John 17:17

“Make them ready for Your service through Your truth; Your teaching is truth.”
John 17:17 (NCV)

Good Morning My Father,
Thank you for the sunrise this morning. I praise You for the wonderful sunset last night and for pausing me long enough to see it. Your creation is so beautiful to gaze on, if only I will stop when I hear You call.

Father, You are preparing me to serve You. Sometimes I think I’m such a slow learner, but, Your patience and love carry me through. I need You today to help me learn Your truth, to memorize and meditate on Your truth, but most of all, to live Your truth in my life.

Help me to understand that this is a lifetime of learning and that there is joy in just being with You. Lead me on the path that You have chosen for me and let me shine Your love!
Amen

Psalm 100:4&5

Enter His gates with thanksgiving; go into His courts with praise. Give thanks to Him and praise His name. For the Lord is good. His unfailing love continues forever, and His faithfulness continues to each generation.
Psalm 100:4 & 5

Good Morning LORD!
How wonderful to wake up with You this morning. I know that today is the day that You have made and I will rejoice and be glad in it. Your faithfulness and love give me the reason I live and I will praise You with my whole being today!

As I come into Your courts this morning, Yahweh, I will worship You with the fullness of my soul. I want to tell everyone I meet how great You are.

Help me to focus on You during worship this morning. Please put the blinders on so I won’t be distracted from Your presence. I want to please You and bring a smile to Your face.

I will worship and praise You in faithful devotion today.
Amen

James 2:24

So you see, we are shown to be right with God by what we do, not by faith alone.
James 2:24

Good Morning Jesus,

It was kind of a short night, LORD, but I still feel renewed and ready to face the day. What I love so much about You, is that the number of hours I rest at night doesn’t make any difference. You make the difference and prepare me to face the day. I am so blessed to be able to face it with You!

Jesus, I know I have faith, I know that You exist and You are present in my life. However, You also ask me to live my faith and that is not always so easy. There are times I know exactly what You are asking, then there are times I just can’t make it out. Sometimes I want You to write my directions out in black and white, but what good would faith be then?

I know though that if I wait on You, You are always faithful to show the way, I just don’t want to miss Your direction Jesus. I love living for and with You, You are my purpose in this life. Help me today to step out in faith to please You.
Amen

Isaiah 41:10

Don’t be afraid, for I AM with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I AM your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with My victorious right hand
Isaiah 41:10

Good Morning Yahweh,
Do You know just how much I look forward to this time with You? You are the very air I need to live. You fill my spirit with wisdom and knowledge. You give me purpose and encourage me to step out when I would like to step back. You are so amazing and I love You so very much.

You know, Father, there are times I’m afraid to move forward, even with You. I’m so unsure of myself, questioning Your call. So I will just sit and do nothing.

Then there are times I’m very discourage. I feel like I’ve really messed up, so much so that You might not want to work with me anymore. When I can’t seem to do the little things, how can I expect to get to the more challenging things in my life right?

Again this morning, Your Word speaks to my soul. You remind me that You are always with me. I don’t need to be afraid or discourage. All I need to do at these times is take Your hand, for You alone are my God and will strengthen me and provide the help when I ask.

Your right hand gives victory, because Your Son, Jesus Christ, sits there. You have given me Your Son, I know He will take care of me, always.

Thank You for taking my burdens this morning, Yahweh, my mighty and wonderful LORD!
Amen

Colossians 1:9

So we have not stopped praying for you since we first heard about you. We ask God to give you complete knowledge of His will and to give you spiritual wisdom and understanding.
Colossians 1:9

Good Morning My Jesus!
How can I proclaim Your greatness to the world? How can my mere words describe how I feel about You? I am so grateful that You know my heart and can see into my soul and know just how madly in love I am with You!

I thank You, Jesus, for those You have place around me to encourage and pray for me.

They are so special and I ask today that You will bless them with Your presence.

You also say in Your Word that You will give me an understanding of Your will. There are times, LORD, that I still struggle with what I am supposed to do with my life. I think I may be on the right path, but then I’m not sure. I need Your wisdom and knowledge in the many choices I make each day. I also know that there are times You want me to search for how I can work with You, and each time I step out in something new, I know You will be with me. I ask for the knowledge to know my purpose at this stage of my life.

While I wait for Your wisdom, Jesus, I will continue to study Your Word, love others with Your love and desire each day to glorify You in all I do!
Amen
