So now you Gentiles are no longer strangers and foreigners. You are citizens along with all of God’s holy people. You are members of God’s family.

Good Morning Father,
You are the God of the Universe and all it holds. You are the Great I AM and I adore You. How special that You would take this time to be with me, to listen to my needs and teach me about Yourself.

What a joy to my heart, Father, to know that I am a part of Your family. You have grafted me into Your love and bound me with Your Spirit. You do not recognize me as a foreigner or stranger, I am Yours, and You are mine.

Help me today to share You with others, to give them Your love, to show them just how much You desire to be with them today. Help me to see those I come in contact with as part of Your family also. If they don’t know You, help me to say the right words and do the right actions, so they too can claim to be in Your family!

You must offer it only at the designated place of worship—the place the Lord your God chooses for His name to be honored. Sacrifice it there in the evening as the sun goes down on the anniversary of your exodus from Egypt.

Morning Father,
It’s still early and the peace of the day is so wonderful. Before long there will be demands on my time and schedules to keep. But for now I am Yours and I love this time of refreshment with You.

I am so blessed to be living on this side of the cross, Father. To be able to worship You right now or any place I may be. I have the opportunity to sing Your praises while I drive, to pray for my fellow sisters and brothers while I’m in the elevator, and to have such joy as I sit and watch the sunset with You.

However, Father, in all those places, wherever I worship You, I want to be sure and honor Your name, honor Your presence with my whole being. You deserve nothing less and I want to give You my all.

Help me today, Father, to think on Your many names. How I can honor them. How I can lift Your name on high and give You glory.

You are my Love and I am so very blessed!

Good Morning Father,
Thank You so much for the extra sleep this morning. I guess I needed it and You provided. But, I will thank You even on those mornings I have to get up early, because I know You will give me the strength I need to get through a day. You are my very amazing God and I love You so much.

Father, I know I’m a sinner. I know I need a Savior. You knew it even before I was born! I also know I hurt You so many times through a day and I don’t want to. I would love to be as faithful to You, as You are to me. Yet, in this life, it won’t happen. That will not keep me from trying and leaning on Jesus to please You.

You are so faithful even to the faithless and I adore You. I praise You for who You are, You cannot change and that gives me such peace to know I can stand on You forever.

I ask for Your strength and courage today to live as You would have me live, to spread Your love and shine Your glory!

Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you. Let Me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.”

Good Morning Jesus,
How I thank You for calling me to You this morning. I am very tired already and there seems to be so much bad stuff going on in people’s lives around me. I do feel burdened. I care so much for my loved ones and friends, I want to be faithful to them as You are faithful to me.

So I come this morning to receive Your rest. Please teach me Your ways, I want my heart to be as Yours, I want to be gentle in my actions, I want to glorify You.

You have also reminded me that my burdens are Yours also. Yet, I know I don’t always give them to You, as You have asked me. I guess I think I can handle it all on my own, when You know I can’t.

You have asked me to serve others WITH You, not FOR You. I forget that often Jesus. Thank You for reminding me that we’re in this together and Your yoke is easy to bear when I give my burdens to You!

You, my Love, have lessened the load already this morning. My energy is back and I am ready to face the day WITH You. How wonderful You are!

Good Morning My LORD,
You are my awesome God. I know I say that all the time, but each moment with You is such a blessing and I don’t have adequate words to fully proclaim Your greatness. I am so grateful that You know my heart and know how I feel about You!

I thank You, Father, for the rest You blessed me with, but I also want to thank You for the beautiful sunset last night. It reminded me how You surround me with Your presence. It was amazing to see Your design as You silhouetted the horizon with the rich orange and then soft pink. I was overwhelmed with a sense of peace and contentment like I’ve never known before. What a gift it was and thank You again for making me aware just how much You enjoy surprising me with Your beauty.

I would ask this morning, LORD, that I would be able to shine Your love to those I work with, live with and just enjoy being with. I want to honor You with my life and to glorify You all my days!

Whatever is good and perfect comes down to us from God our Father, who created all the lights in the heavens. He never changes or casts a shifting shadow. He chose to give birth to us by giving us His true word. And we, out of all creation, became His prized possession.

Good Morning Jesus,
Your faithfulness to greet me each morning is such a delight to my heart. Getting out of bed is so much easier when I know You are waiting for me.

How blessed I am to know that You are the same yesterday as You are today and will be tomorrow. You don’t change, You are my solid foundation.

How blessed I am to have Your Word. Please give me a desire to place it on my heart and to live it in my life. I want to hunger and thirst for Your wisdom.

I am so humbled and honored my Jesus, that You would consider me a prized possession. I feel so unworthy of Your love and care, yet, I know I can’t live without it.

How blessed I am to know Your love!

Good Morning My Love,
Thank You so very much for my night’s rest. You always know just how much sleep I need to be of service for You each day. Even when I don’t think it’s much, You always come through.

Your Word this morning made me stop and think. You have approved me to be a messenger for You! Even though I don’t consider myself worthy, You have given me consideration, examined my heart, and approved me as Your Voice! It boggles my mind!

It is Your pleasure for me to tell people about the Good News of Your Son. How much He loves us, how He died for us, and most important, how He lives for us!

But, I confess, LORD, that I don’t always want to do the speaking, and many times I don’t. Please forgive me, I am so faithless to Your faithfulness.

Help me to remember today, Father, that my most important purpose in this life is to please You. I want You to smile upon me and that my life will give You the glory! I love You, LORD!

Good Morning My Jesus,
I just wanted to thank You for getting me up early enough to see that beautiful sunrise. The oranges and yellows were magnificent! If I had stayed in bed 5 minutes longer, I would have missed it. Your timing and care for me is so wonderful.

Jesus, I can only imagine what You looked like when You walked this earth. There are no actual pictures or paintings of Your image. And no wonder, You Yourself said I was not to make any graven image of You. Whatever I could draw or come up with would not do You glory.

But there are words of what You are like and those speak volumes. Again, You are reminding me that what I look like on the outside, should not be my focus. It’s what is on the inside, my character, my passions and my heart. As I read Your Word written so many years ago, I see Your character. Your passion for people to come to You. Your love that You give so generously. Your heart for justice.

I will praise You always for coming to this world, showing me who I need to become, so I may come into Your world. And right now, at this very moment, while I sit with You, the two worlds merge. You are my LORD, the love of my life and my very reason to exist. How I Love You!

Good Morning Abba,
How delightful to be with You again this morning as I get started with my day. How did I live before I knew You? How did I get through tough times without You? What was my purpose before I knew You?

You have given me purpose as I have never had known. Before I came to know You, my LORD, all I did was exist. Life now is so much more exciting and fulfilling than I could ever have expected.

You have redeemed me from my nothing life, You gave Your Son as the ransom, and I am so humbled You would do that for me.

You love me as You love Your Son, I am so unworthy of Your love, again I am so humbled You have given me such grace.

You have called me to be Your home in this world. I am so faithless to be considered Your home, yet I am so full of joy to live for You.

As I walk with You the next 40 days Father, please keep me close to Your side. I want and need to experience what You went through as You walked toward the cross. I want to feel the urgency You felt to get Your Word out. I want to know the agony You felt as You knew You would be leaving Your people so soon. I want to know the joy You felt as You claimed victory over death.

Please show me the way I need to go as You guide me through this life.
I love You so very much!

Morning My Creator!
How wonderful to sit with you this morning, to watch the world awake, to see the beautiful sunrise and to just be with You. I am blessed and honored and humbled that You would desire to be here with me.

I know, Father, that You alone are God. There is no other like You. You are so caring and kind. You call me to be Holy like You. Sometimes I need discipline to get back on track or stay on track with You. Although I don’t like discipline, I praise You for loving me so much and seeing the need for it, that You provide for all I need to grow in You.

When I think on Your creation, Father, I can’t even begin to know Your greatness. I see only a small part of this world, I see only the beauty of my small living space, but when my minds eye takes a trip, my breath is taken away. I thank You for pictures and space telescopes that help me see just a bit more of Your creation. The immensity of the Universe is amazing and we know so little about it.

You not only created all of this, You sustain it from moment to moment. Your power is beyond anything man could ever understand. All You ask from us is to know You are God.

I want to sing Your praises today, Father. I want to shine Your love into this world and glorify You. Most of all I want to know You more today than I did yesterday. I love You so very much!
