The Lord is my shepherd; I have all that I need. He lets me rest in green meadows; He leads me beside peaceful streams. He renews my strength. He guides me along right paths, bringing honor to His name.
Psalm 23:1-3

Good Morning My King,
How wonderful to know that You are my Shepherd. You are constantly watching over me, guarding and protecting me. You are so wonderful.

You provide all that I need and more. You know what is required for my day and often provide it before I even know there is a need. How gracious You are.

Jesus, thank You so much for the sleep of last night. The peace I have when I realize that it’s through You I rest.

I praise You, Jesus, for the wonderful water You provide for me. Not only the water I need to sustain my daily life, but the water of Your Word that helps me to grow spiritually. I want to continue to thirst for Your wisdom and love.

Every time, LORD, that I feel too tired to go on, You step in and renew my strength. If only I would rely on Your strength to begin with. Thank You for carrying me through this life.

It is such a joy, Jesus, to follow the path that You have designed just for my life. I know it will be safe and sure as You guide me.

In all this, LORD, I want to bring honor to Your Holy Name. I want to love You with my life!

Good Morning Jesus!
Thank You so much for being with me this morning. I praise You for all that You are, my King, my LORD, the love of my life!

I thank You also for the beauty of this morning. Even though the weather is warming, You bless me with the freshness of each new day. Your mercies are new every morning. Thank You!

Oh Jesus, to just dream about what You have in store for me makes my heart sore with anticipation. I haven’t got a clue as to what my future will hold, but You do. I can’t dream big enough to know what will unfold in the days to come, so I will just experience each day with You. If it’s good times or bad, I know Your desire is to give me the best. You are my reason to live and I love You!

Good Morning Father,
Thank You for this most beautiful morning. The air is still cool, the birds woke me with their singing and there is a peace in my heart that comes only from You! I am so blessed to be Your child!

In Your Word, Father, You often remind us that You alone are God. Your stories in the Old Testament are so much about how Your chosen people turn from You, yet, You are always calling them back and reminding them You alone are God. I often wonder why they didn’t get it.

Then You so gently remind me that I don’t always get it either. Please forgive me and show me where I need to place You as my only God. You alone are worthy of my praise and love. I want so much to love You with my life and all that I am.

Help me, LORD, to walk with You today, to come to know You better and to live Your Word. I love You!

The Lord is my strength and my song; He has given me victory. This is my God, and I will praise Him—my father’s God, and I will exalt Him! The Lord is a warrior; Yahweh is His name! 
Exodus 15:2-3

Good Morning Yahweh,
What a wonderful morning to be able to spend time with You. The trees are getting their leaves, the air is fresh and the flowers are in bloom. There is the promise of a new season unfolding before my eyes. It’s a season to proclaim Your greatness in my life!

Yahweh, You are my strength. There are days I feel so tired and weak, yet You are always supplying Your strength for me to carry on. I am so grateful for Your presence.

I want to sing a song to You every day. You are my victory and I need to remember that I can claim Your victory and live in joy.

You are my God and I will praise You all the days of my life. I do not want to be silent, I will lift Your name on high with every breath I take.

I love You, Father, for being my warrior. You have fought the battles I am now facing and You have won. Yet, even now You will not leave me to fight on my own. You surround me on all sides and keep me safe.

Your Name is Great. Your Name is Wonderful. Your Name is Love, Yahweh, my LORD!

Then he said to me, “This is what the Lord says to Zerubbabel: It is not by force nor by strength, but by my Spirit, says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies.
Zechariah 4:6

Good Morning Father,
I don’t feel really awake this morning. It wasn’t the best of sleep last night, but I know that You will provide the strength I need to get through the day. Just being here with You right now is encouraging for the day ahead!

Father, please help me to remember that all I do is through Your strength, Your Spirit. I would not know how to accomplish what is needed to finish the job if it weren’t for Your power. When I do finish a job, I’m always amazed at how easy or smooth it went.

Please help me to remember that You always go before me, and whatever happens, happens because of You. I want to glorify You in all I do today.

So then, since we have a great High Priest who has entered heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to what we believe. This High Priest of ours understands our weaknesses, for He faced all of the same testings we do, yet He did not sin. So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive His mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.
Hebrews 4:14-16

Morning My Jesus,
You are so precious to me, I love You with all my heart.

I am so grateful that You are my High Priest. You stand before Your Father, mediating on my behalf. I have the confidence that You know what I’m going through since You went through it when You lived on earth. You are my Messiah and I know You have my best interest at heart.

I want to hold tight to all that You have been teaching me Jesus. You keep opening my eyes every day and it has become a source of nourishment to my soul.

You also have taught me, Jesus, that I can come to my Father with a boldness I can’t understand. I know You will be there, pleading my prayers and asking what I can’t. I know I will receive mercy and grace even though I don’t deserve any. And, I know that it’s all because of You. Thank You.

For since our friendship with God was restored by the death of His Son while we were still His enemies, we will certainly be saved through the life of His Son.

Good Morning Abba,
How wonderful to be with You this morning. To watch the world wake and know that You are God.

I sometimes have a hard time thinking that I can have a friendship with You, God. You are the creator of the universe and all things. Your power is mighty and I am so faithless and small. How could You even want to be with me?

Your Word this morning tells me that when I came to believe in Your Son, my Jesus, that I have been saved through His life. I never deserved that honor, yet, I will glow with His presence. And yes, with that honor comes my friendship with You. I will cherish these times with You, I want to learn all I can, and to imitate You in all things.

Help me to remember that friendships take time, help me to give You the time You deserve and to grow this relationship into a beautiful garden.

I love You, Father.

Good Morning My Savior!
You are my Savior and the love of my life! You chose me even before I knew anything about You. You have been at work in my life, growing me into the person You see. How wonderful You are.

Today, Jesus, help me to greet everyone with Your love. I don’t want it to be just surface love, I want it to be a love that will glorify You. I know that there are people in my life that are hard to love. I also know that You will be placing them before me from time to time. I don’t want to fail You, when they come, let me love them with Your love. For then it will be the pure love that will draw them to You.

Jesus, I want to be washed with the peace of Your Spirit today. When something comes up that makes me anxious, remind me please, that You are God and to be still. I seek Your peace today.

Morning My LORD,
How wonderful Your Word is every morning. You encourage and strengthen me with every verse. You always know just what I need and provide it with delight. Thank You!

You are my LORD, my wonderful God and there is no other like You.

Please forgive me when I place other ‘gods’ before You. My work, my desires and all those other activities that take priority over You. You know all I have to do, You see my schedule for the days. Please help me to keep You at the top, knowing that You will give me enough time to take care of everything else.

I love You, Yahweh, You are my LORD and there is no other like You!

Good Morning Abba,
How wonderful to be with You this morning. Your faithfulness to wake me each morning is my heart’s delight. I look so forward to this time of the day.

As I get to know You more, Father, I realize that You have been at work, growing in me the desire to do what pleases You. I don’t have to be afraid that You will send me into a situation that I know nothing about. You have already given me the passion and desire to do Your calling.

There are times, LORD, that I am slow to discover what those desires are, so would You please guide me and show me my next step? Open my eyes and heart to understand Your plan for my life.

I am so excited to follow You, Father. I cannot contain the joy of being with You!
