John 16:12

There is so much more I want to tell you, but you can’t bear it now.
John 16:12

Good Morning My LORD,
It is so great to be here with You now. I know You’re with me all through the day, but there is just something special about the peace of the morning that gives me such joy.

I’m really enjoying reading Your Word each day, Father. Your Spirit is opening my mind to new and wonderful insights and truths. You have blessed me with Your wisdom and knowledge and I praise You for being so generous.

As Your scripture says this morning, there will be new and exciting insights each time I read. Even if I’ve read something hundreds of times before, You will always have something I’ve never noticed, jump right off the page and into my heart. Then, You always save something for the next time, or until I’m ready for that truth. You know the limits of my understanding and my mind’s acceptance of something different, and give me time to process those thoughts. You are so good to me and I adore You.

Help me to think on Your Word through the day, Father. I want to get it into my heart so I can live it in my life. I would like to bring a smile to Your face this morning!
Amen

Psalm 5:7

Because of Your unfailing love, I can enter Your house; I will worship at Your Temple with deepest awe.
Psalm 5:7

Good Morning My Love!
Today is the day that You created and I want to be glad and rejoice in it!Today is the day that You call me to a closer relationship with You, to know and learn from You and to let You take my heart and soar! How I love You, Jesus!

Today is the day that I can be with You, only because of Your unfailing love. You saw the mess I was in and chose to give Your life for mine. Your’s is a love I can’t understand, but I can enjoy and pass it along to someone else.

Today I will enter Your house of worship and give You all the glory You so deserve. I want to know Your power and majesty. I want to feel Your presence and know You are there.

I need Your help, Spirit, I can’t do this alone, so I will trust You to help me worship with the deepest awe and wonder.
Amen

Psalm 5:1-2

O Lord, hear me as I pray; pay attention to my groaning. Listen to my cry for help, my King and my God, for I pray to no one but You.
Psalm 5:1-2

Good Morning My King,
I am so glad to be here with You this morning. I am so glad that You are my God.

I have been having so many challenges lately, LORD. Nothing all that bad, but my spirit is unsettled and I need You to help me make some decisions. I know changes are always part of life, but there seems to be so many right now. I don’t know which way to turn.

Yet, I know You are my Guide and Counselor and I turn to no one but You for help. Please clear my mind to focus on You right now and let the other stuff go. Please center me in Your presence, to be still, and let You be God.

I praise You, Jesus, for the peace that You have given to me this morning. To know that You are at work and will bring light to the path I should take gives me confidence to move forward. How precious You are to  me, how amazingly good. I will sing Your praises all day long. Thank You, Jesus, for loving me so.
Amen

Acts 1:3

During the forty days after His crucifixion, He appeared to the apostles from time to time, and He proved to them in many ways that He was actually alive. And He talked to them about the Kingdom of God.
Acts 1:3

Good Morning My King!
You are so very good to me, I don’t deserve all You have done. I love You!

In Your Word this morning, I love how You showed everyone that You were alive. You proved that You had defeated death and I have been blessed because of Your victory.

What caught my thoughts this morning, Jesus, is how You talked to the apostles about the Kingdom of God. I often want to share Your love by just doing things, and I know that at times that’s what You ask. But, I realize that You are also asking me to speak about the Kingdom of God, something that I’m not always ready to do.

Please give me Your words and courage to talk to people about Your Kingdom. Please give me the words to express that Your Kingdom begins here and now. That they can have an adventurous lifetime with You now and it will continue into eternity.

I want Your fire and passion to burn in me, to shout Your glory to the world! I want to love You not only with my life but with the words I speak!
Amen

Ecclesiastes 11:5

Just as you cannot understand the path of the wind or the mystery of a tiny baby growing in its mother’s womb, so you cannot understand the activity of God, who does all things.
Ecclesiastes 11:5

Good Morning Yahweh,
I am so glad that You are my God. You know exactly what is best for me and You bless me with such joy in my heart. How I love You!

I will never be able to understand You, my LORD. That’s okay, I really don’t want to know all You do, then I would be God and I really don’t want that responsibility.

Yet, there are so many times through a day that I don’t respect Your ways and think I know better about how things should go. I don’t ask for Your guidance, I don’t listen to Your counsel, I don’t even acknowledge Your presence.

Please forgive me, Father. I so often forget that I don’t see the big picture as You do.

Help me please to know that I will never understand all Your purposes in my life.

What I do need to do, is trust You in every area of my life. To trust that You have nothing but the best in store.
Amen

2 Kings 22:4-6

Go to Hilkiah the high priest and have him count the money the gatekeepers have collected from the people at the Lord’s Temple. Entrust this money to the men assigned to supervise the Temple’s restoration. Then they can use it to pay workers to repair the Temple of the Lord.
2 Kings 22:4-6

Good Morning Father,
It’s so quiet this morning. There is a peace within me that I know is You. You have blessed me with so much that I can never stop praising and loving You!

As I read about Your Temple this morning, my heart began to hurt for You. To realize that Your chosen people let Your Temple fall into such dis-repair must have made You very sad. So much trashy stuff had gone on in it, the beams were rotting, the stones shifted. How did this happen?

Then You made me see that Your Temple, my life and body, is in the same dis-repair. I have let so much trashy stuff into my mind without asking Your forgiveness. I have let my beams rot and the stones of my foundation have been shifted. Then I asked myself, how did this happen?

It happens when I stray from You. It happens when I let the world into my thoughts. It happens when I don’t seek Your forgiveness.

Please forgive me my Father. Show me when I have sinned against You so I can come and ask for mercy right away. When I listen to the world, and my foundation shifts, please draw me back and correct my way of thinking. My desire is to put Your Temple back in order, so people will know that I live with You.

Thank you my dear, LORD, for never giving up on me, encouraging me every moment and for just being my God!
Amen

Psalm 4:7

You have given me greater joy than those who have abundant harvests of grain and new wine.
Psalm 4:7

Morning Jesus!
It’s early and the peace of the day is so pleasant. I know it will get busy, crazy even, but right now I will just rest and enjoy Your presence.

Do You know the joy You have given me, LORD? It’s so hard to explain, it’s not the joy that the world knows, because I know it even when rotten things come into my life. It’s a bubble that comes deep from within and I know it’s from You. I am so glad that You know my heart and can understand what I’m trying to say.

It’s also a joy that doesn’t waiver with my circumstances. If I have plenty or nothing at all, Your joy will never leave me. I am so thankful that You have chosen me to be Your child. Help me today to live my life in Your love!
Amen

Hebrews 12:2

We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith. Because of the joy awaiting Him, He endured the cross, disregarding its shame. Now He is seated in the place of honor beside God’s throne.
Hebrews 12:2

Good Morning My Champion!
You are the best in all the world. You have won the battle. You are my Love!

I do not know what the day will hold for me, LORD, but I do know that You will be with me. If it’s joy or sorrow, help me please to keep my eyes on You.

You gave everything for me to be here with You this morning. I do not pretend to understand that kind of love. What You endured, it’s pain and shame, and You did because You knew the joy of being with Your Father. Please till the soil of my heart so I also look forward to the joy of being with You in heaven.

Yet, You call me to be joyous right now. You have poured Your Spirit into my life and I can know that joy today. It’s not the silly kind of joy that makes us crazy happy. It’s the joy that just won’t go away, despite our circumstances. It’s the peace that doesn’t make sense to this world. It’s Your very life that lives in me.

You are the best in the Universe, Jesus, and I love You!
Amen

1 Peter 5:7

Give all your worries and cares to God, for He cares about you.
1 Peter 5:7

Good Morning Jesus,
I love You so very much. You always know just what I need at the perfect time. You give me the rest I need and wake me to a fresh and new day.

What peace I have to know You care so much for me. You could have walked away from the cross, but Your love for me was so great, You chose not to.

Help me to realize, Jesus, that You care about the little things in my life as much as the big things. It’s when I learn to trust You with the little things that I will learn You are trustworthy with the big crisis.

As I go through life, help me to turn over all my worries and cares to You. Help me to understand what I can change, what I can correct and leave the rest to You. Help me not to waste my life worrying about things I cannot control. Please open my hands and let my cares go into Your care.
Amen

1 Samuel 17:45

David replied to the Philistine, “You come to me with sword, spear, and javelin, but I come to you in the name of the Lord of Heaven’s Armies—the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied.
1 Samuel 17:45

Good Morning Yahweh,
What a beautiful morning to be sitting here with You. The world is awake and it’s a joy to listen to the birds sing. I praise You for blessing me with Your nature as I enjoy it’s beauty. Thank You for this moment.

Father, there are so many times in the day I hear Your name defiled. I hear it used as cuss words, drug through mud and so much more. My heart cringes when I hear others miss use Your name, but I don’t do anything about it. I don’t defend You or ask them not to smear it. I’m not sure exactly what I should do. I have begun to pray for them and ask You to help them realize what they are doing. I don’t want to come off as a goodie two shoes, but what am I supposed to do? Help me and guide my words and actions so others will know that I lift Your name on high.

But, LORD, I also don’t always exalt Your name either. Please forgive me and remind me when I offend You. Please control my tongue so nothing but praise will be spoken. Your Name, my Yahweh, is precious to me, help me to treat it as such.

I love You so very much!
Amen
