Teach me to do Your will, for You are my God. May your gracious Spirit lead me forward on a firm footing.

Good Morning My King,
Oh my goodness, but Your Word this morning says exactly what my heart desires. I want to do Your will, Father, for You are my God and I want to please You.

There are times I’m not sure which way to turn, so I delay. I ask that You, Spirit, will show me the way and lead me forward, nudge me if necessary. I don’t want to backslide or stagnate in my relationship with You. I want to always be moving forward and getting to know You better.

So Spirit, today I ask that You will show me the next step, that You will make my feet firm and strong as I stand on Your Word!

But the time is coming—indeed it’s here now—when true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth. The Father is looking for those who will worship Him that way.
John 4:23

Good Morning Father!
Thank You for the night’s rest. I am always in awe at how You know just what I need and provide for me. When You need me to pray for someone, You wake me, and even if I’m up for awhile, I will still feel rested in the morning.

Your Word this morning, Father, really spoke to me. When You sent Your Son, Jesus, to carry my sins to the cross, You also broke down all the man-made rules we had in place to be able to worship You. We got it all so wrong.

You are Spirit and we need to worship You in our spirit. We don’t need all the ‘stuff’ we think is necessary, all we need to do is just be with You. And, to be able to worship You any day and any place!

What joy to know that You are looking for us to worship You that way now. I ask that You will help me to step closer to the worship that will please You, not my preconceived ideas. Help me to step into Your presence and feel Your pleasure in just being together.

Love You, Father, with all my being!

He prayed, O Lord, God of Israel, there is no God like you in all of heaven and earth. You keep Your covenant and show unfailing love to all who walk before You in wholehearted devotion.

Good Morning My Wonderful King,
Thank You for this time that I can just be with You. To sit and read Your Word, to learn from Your Spirit and to know Your love, this is the best part of my day!

I know my, LORD, that there is no other like You. You are the one and only God and I want to worship You with my life. I want to proclaim Your glory to the world. I want to speak Your Word so others may come to know You. I want to love because that is what You have asked me to do.

You have kept Your covenant, Father, Your love is unfailing and surrounds me continually. Help me please to be aware of Your love. Help me to grow stronger in Your Spirit each day.

I love You, Abba!

Isaiah 26:3

Good Morning Spirit,
How wonderful it is to know You, Spirit. I believe so many in our country have met Jesus, but they have not let Your power into their lives. You have so much life and excitement that You want to share with Your children, it’s a shame we don’t open and let You live in us!

I may know You, Spirit, but I must confess that I still don’t allow Your power to penetrate my life as I know You would like to. I guess I may be afraid of what You would do, that You would change me. Please forgive me. Please give me the strength to open up to Your power so I can become the person that You know I can be, that I may glorify God in living my life.

I know from experience that when I keep my thoughts fixed on You, I will have peace. Not the kind of peace the world thinks of, but the peace that only You can give.

I am so blessed to have You as my Companion and LORD. I love You Spirit!

Morning My Dear Jesus!
Once again Your faithfulness astounds me. You are right here with me again. You have poured out Your mercies into my life and give me hope for a new day!

Please forgive me when I forget to put my hope in You. So many times through the day I place my confidence and hope in ‘things’ around me. These ‘things’ are but a passing vapor, here this moment and gone the next.

It is only You that I should place my hope in, You never change and cannot shift. It is only on You that my foundation should be built on.

Help me this day to remember to place my hope and trust in You. Please give me Your patience during trials and above all, remind me to keep talking to You. This time with You each morning is such a refreshment and joy to my heart.

Good Morning Father,
Have I told You lately just how much I love You? I do! You are the love of my life and I adore You!

I know, Father, that You were talking about the Temple in Jerusalem in this verse, but I also know that You’re talking about the temple of my life.

I am always amazed that You have chosen my life to be set apart to be holy. You desire for Your Name to be honored and raised high in my life.

What joy to know that You are watching over me, to protect and guide, every moment.

But, what makes my soul soar is to know that I am dear to Your heart! Me, who feels so insignificant at times, dear to the Creator of the Universe’s heart! How humbled and honored I am.

You are the love of my life and I adore You!

Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with My victorious right hand.
Isaiah 41:10

Good Morning My LORD,
I praise You for all You have given me, but I want to love You for just being my LORD. You are so kind and generous and I want to share You with my world.

You know, Father, that to share You is sometimes scary. What if I don’t say the right words, or mis-represent You to someone. You tell me this morning to not be afraid, even when You call me to witness Your love, because You are right here with me. Thank You for that encouragement.

You also tell me to not be discouraged. Help me to remember that when You lived here on earth, not everyone received Your words. That had to be very discouraging. How can I expect more than what You experienced. I want to remember that You are my God and to not be discouraged.

I praise You Father, for I know that You will strengthen me and give me all the right words when Your time is right. Help me to listen to Your voice and follow Your lead. Help me to remember it’s You I’m proclaiming, not myself.

You give me such victory my LORD, to overcome my fears and discouragements. I worship You in awe of Your loving kindness to me.

Morning Abba,
You are my love and center of my life. If it weren’t for Your passion in me, I would just exist. Being with You everyday, LORD, gives my life excitement and purpose as I’ve never had before.

You are so just and fair to me, Father. In fact, You are more than just and fair because I really don’t deserve all You do for me. When I’m at my worst, You chose to sacrifice Yourself so I can be with You now. You didn’t wait for me to get myself ‘good’ before You poured Your grace and mercy into me. How I love You!

I want to praise You all day long. Please help me to stay close to You. Remind me when I stray and draw me back close to Your side. You are my God and I want the world to know!

So we tell others about Christ, warning everyone and teaching everyone with all the wisdom God has given us. We want to present them to God, perfect in their relationship to Christ.
Colossians 1:28

Good Morning My Savior,
You are not only my Savior, You are my Friend and the love of my life. I praise You for all You are!

Once again Your Word is reminding me to tell others about You. You ask me to share my life story with them so they can see how You work.

You ask me to tell them about Your Word, so they can come to close You.

It’s a big job, Jesus. Yet, You don’t leave me on my own. You are always with me, guiding me closer to You and giving me the words to give to them. I will trust in You to be with me today and place someone in my path, so I can share them with You.

Good Morning Jesus,
Thank You so much for my rest last night. Yesterday was kind of crazy and I was so tired. You let me sleep with such peace and contentment, I can now rise with energy and joy to be with You.

I praise You for today, the day that You created. I want to sing praises to Your name and worship You in truth and spirit. I want to worship You alone.

Jesus, as I read Your Word this morning, I realized that I can fall into the same patterns as Your chosen children did. I can worship You on Sundays, and then fall back into the ways of the world on Monday. Or I can even bring those ways into Your church. Please forgive me for such abuse. Help me Jesus, to get rid of all the outside customs that I think are necessary to worship You. Please bring me back to You. Help me to know what will please You.

As I lift Your Name on high this morning, please wash me in Your Spirit so I can glorify You!
