Good Morning Jesus!
It’s really getting warm outside. Summer is here and so are You. Thank You for being with me this morning.

Jesus, I would ask that You would be with the people who are involved in Vacation Bible Schools this summer. Let them see You at work through the day as they are with the children. Please give them the encouragement they need, to know You are pleased with their efforts.

It’s a very tiring week, Jesus, I know You are with each one and will provide the rest they need. I also ask that You will give them a passion and new insights, so each day will be an adventure for them and the children they are teaching.

I thank You so much for the glory You are reveling to Your children, both young and old. It’s for You they do this week. You have called them to be the gardeners and plant the seed. I will trust You to water and grow the seeds in each child. You are the Master Gardner and I love You!

Good Morning Spirit,
It’s the start of another day and I’m blessed to have this time with You before it gets all busy. I praise You for being my LORD and constantly drawing me to You. I am so unworthy of Your presence, but I take joy in the fact that You have given me the right to be with You here.

Spirit, as children begin to head to Vacation Bible Schools across our country this summer, please be with them and their families. I praise You for giving these children the thirst to come and see what You are all about. I thank You for giving the freedom in our country that will allow the parents to bring their children. Please be with the leaders and helpers today. Give them Your words, so they will be on their lips as they teach the children of Your love. It’s so exciting to realize that what You said so many centuries ago, is still alive and being passed down from generation to generation. I will trust that the words spoken today will produce fruit in everyone’s life. I will watch with anticipation as these children grow up in Your love!

Good Morning Jesus!
This morning, I just want to thank You for all the blessings in my life. There are so many they can’t be counted, Thank You for my family, friends and most of all, You. You are my greatest blessing and I love You with all I am.

We cannot look at the sun, for it shines brightly in the sky when the wind clears away the clouds. So also, golden splendor comes from the mountain of God. He is clothed in dazzling splendor.

Good Morning Yahweh,
How wonderful to sit in Your presence this morning. Your desire to be with me and it always amazes me. Who am I? I often think of myself as nothing, but then You remind me that I am Your child, You created me, and have honored me as we sit together so I can learn from You!

I love all the little surprises You give to me, Father. Your Word is filled with them and it’s a delight to come across them.

Like this one this morning. I can see the sun in the sky, it’s brightness hurts my eyes and I can’t look at it directly. It shines into every corner, lighting the way and warming the earth. Yet, Your splendor is even greater. The sun will fade into nothing when Your glory is revealed. Your beauty is never ending, just as Your love and faithfulness live on forever. How I love You, Abba. Please help me to shine Your glory to this dark world today. Spirit, please show me how to proclaim Your beauty and love.

Good Morning Jesus!
I thank You for the beauty You have set before my eyes this morning. As the sun rises and the world awakes, it is Your glory I see. You are the great and mighty I AM and I love You!

What joy You must have to see so many little children attending Vacation Bible School this summer. Your heart soars with seeing Your Word taught and love being lavished on Your little ones.

Thank You, Jesus, for the opportunity to pray for these children. Please be with them today, help them to understand just how much You love them. Please give them the security that You will always be right there with them. Please surround them with Your love.

I praise You for being with those who lead them. Give them Your rest each day. You have blessed them with this calling Jesus, I know You will sustain them with Your joy!

Good Morning Yahweh,
What  a delight it is to wake with You each morning. I thank You for the singing of the birds and to watch the wildlife in my backyard, it brings me such joy.

I want to give You a blessing today, LORD, for it is You who guides me. You are constantly instructing me in Your ways, giving so freely Your wisdom and knowledge.

I know You are always with me.

I know Your foundation cannot be shifted or shaken. No matter what I may face today, I know You are my solid ground and I will run to You.

There are times, Father, that my heart fills like it might burst for the joy You have blessed me with. Please help me to share with someone today You love, so they can come to know You.

You are my LORD and I love You!

Good Morning Jesus,
Thank You so much for the rest last night. It was so busy yesterday and I was so tired. Yet, You always know just what I need and supply it. Have I told You lately just how blessed I am to have You as my King?

We’re in the Vacation Bible School time in our country. Many, many children are attending all over the land. Some will be coming and not having a clue as to who You are. Many will leave at the end of the week having been introduced to You as their Savior. I praise You for the work You are doing.

I also want to thank You for the people that are working and leading these VBS groups. It’s a tough and tiring week for them, Jesus. Please be with them and give them Your strength for each day. Please give them new and exciting ways to show Your love to the children. Let Your light shine through them.

What is so exciting to me, LORD, is to know that You will be feeding thousands during these weeks. No one will go away, not being introduced to Your wonderful Word. And You will continue to feed these children in the years to come. I claim these children for Your glory Jesus, just as You have claimed my life to live for You!

Good Morning Jesus,
Thank You for my nights rest. I slept so peaceful and have awaken ready to face the day, with You guiding my every step.

I love You so much, LORD, there are times I feel I might explode! It’s a passionate and deep love and I want to honor You with my life.

This morning as I read Your Word, I also realize that You want me to love others with that same love. You don’t want the surface love that is so prevalent in our culture. You want me to love with Your genuine love. I know I’m not capable of that, Jesus. I need You, Spirit, to love for me. I can’t do this alone, I want Your presence in my life, so I can please You.

You also ask me to honor those You place around me, and to take delight in doing so. I have to confess I don’t always look for ways to honor people, so today I want to do something special for one person. Let me know who and then ways I can do so. Please show me how to be the best servant I can be.

I praise You for Your teachings this morning. I praise You for Your Word. I love You for just being You!

Imitate God, therefore, in everything you do, because you are His dear children. Ephesians 5:1

Good Morning Jesus,

What a delight it is to be with You this morning. The day is still fresh and I too am fresh from my night’s sleep. I am in awe at how You take care of me.

Jesus, You tell me this morning that I need to imitate You. And I’m supposed to do it in everything. It’s a big job and I know I can’t do this alone.

So I praise You, Spirit, for being right here with me now. The peace You bring and excitement to live for You is beyond my words. Help me this day to imitate You.

I also ask today, Spirit, that You will be with those leading Vacation Bible Schools across our land this summer. Help them to imitate You. Let Your love pour through them into the children they will be teaching. Show them how to give discipline with love and love without condition. Please surround them, Spirit, they can’t do this on their own, they need You!

Over all this, please help all of us to know, really know, that we are Your children, Your dear children. Love You LORD!

Morning Father,
The sky this morning is that beautiful blue and there isn’t a cloud in it. The green of the leaves is such a fresh color. Once again You have blessed me with this day that You have created. Help me please to take joy in it, to open my eyes to Your glory, and raise Your name on high.

I know You’re building memorials with the children that will be attending Vacation Bible School across our country, LORD. You use the building blocks of our lives to build a memorial to Your greatness.

So as they come to Your house this summer, please be with all the leaders, teachers and helpers. Help them as they tell Your story. Give them Your words and actions. Help them to plant the seed in each of these children so when they grow up and when someone asks, ‘what do these stones mean?’, they will be able to tell the story!
