Psalm 121:7-8

The Lord keeps you from all harm and watches over your life. The Lord keeps watch over you as you come and go, both now and forever.
Psalm 121:7-8

Good Morning Jesus!
What a wonderful way to start the day. When I keep my time with You, You keep my day in perspective. It’s a delight to know You.

I do thank You, Jesus, for keeping me safe. Your Word this morning talks about how You keep me from all harm. Yet, there are days that I don’t seem safe. There are days that so much goes wrong. There are days that seem like my heart is sliced in two.

Help me to remember my, LORD, that I don’t see the big picture. What I may see as harm, You see as a way to show me Your grace. When I see big challenges in my life, remind me that it is a lesson to lean into You more. Help me please to see the circumstance for what they are, through Your eyes, and take joy that You are with me.

I am so blessed to have You as my God, I want to sing Your praises now and forever!
Amen

2 Chronicles 20:26

On the fourth day they gathered in the Valley of Blessing, which got its name that day because the people praised and thanked the Lord there. It is still called the Valley of Blessing today.
2 Chronicles 20:26

Good Morning Yahweh,
How blessed I am to be here with You right now. It helps me get my priorities together for the day and keeps my eyes on You. Thank You for getting me up early to enjoy Your presence.

Father, I love to read how Your people of the past named a valley in honor of Your blessings. Your Word tells me that they praised and thanked You there.

I would like to have a valley of blessings also. I know I am blessed beyond all my expectations, but sometimes, Father, I take the beauty of Your blessings for granted. Please help me to open my eyes to the wonder of Your love and claim it as a gift from You. Help me to see this world through Your eyes and give You the praise.

I know I don’t need a specific place to praise You, but I would like to have a Valley of Blessings in my heart, to carry with me through this day.

Thank You Yahweh, for Your wonderful love!
Amen

Matthew 21:15-16

The leading priests and the teachers of religious law saw these wonderful miracles and heard even the children in the Temple shouting, “Praise God for the Son of David.” But the leaders were indignant. They asked Jesus, “Do you hear what these children are saying?” “Yes,” Jesus replied. “Haven’t you ever read the Scriptures? For they say, ‘You have taught children and infants to give you praise.’”
Matthew 21:15-16

Good Morning Jesus!
As the sun rises in the sky, so my voice will rise in giving You glory and praising Your name! You are my God, You are my love and I delight in being in Your presence.

I praise You this morning for Your Word. You remind me to always give thanks and praise.

I thank You for teaching me to praise You. You also want my praise to be like that of a child, innocent and unrehearsed. Please help me to learn from them, the joy of raising Your name on high.

You have created me to know You. There is a vacuum in my hearts that longs for You, even if I don’t realize it. Please fill this void in my heart today. Surround me with Your presence and glory. Hold me close as I continue to learn from You throughout my life.

Jesus, please give all Your children, young and old, the courage and strength to shout ‘Praise God for the Son of David!’
Amen

Psalm 16:1

Keep me safe, O God, for I have come to You for refuge.
Psalm 16:1

Good Morning Father,
Have I told You lately just how much I love You? I do, You are my most special love!

I love the thought that You are my refuge, Abba. I often think of a medieval castle with it’s high towers and strong walls. The people of the time would have run to the castle for safety when they were in trouble.

You are even better than the castle’s of old. Your wall of protection cannot be broken. The height of Your refuge does not end. The Rock of Your foundation cannot be shifted. In You I find peace and security. I know that I will be safe, even if my circumstances are challenging.

I look to You my King, for You are my love and refuge.
Amen

Psalm 143:8

Let me hear of Your unfailing love each morning, for I am trusting You. Show me where to walk, for I give myself to You.
Psalm 143:8

Good Morning My Love,
I look so forward to this time with You. To see a new treasure in Your Word, for Your comfort and strength, and to learn all I can while I sit at Your feet.

I know I can only hear of Your unfailing love each morning if I take the time to be with You. I know You love me even when life gets in the way and I’m not here. But, there is something so special in these moments. It’s my treasure for the day.

I want to trust You, Father. I know I do in some areas of my life, yet, other areas are still untouched. I want to hold on to them myself instead of letting You take care of them. Please forgive me, help me to let go of those areas. With an intentional choice, help me to trust You in all things.

I ask that You will show me where to walk today. I want You to shine Your light on my way, so I will know I’m pleasing You. Please take me by the hand and let me walk with You.

I love You, Father, You are the reason I live and move and exist. I give my life to glorify You. For it’s when I’m in Your presence that I have so much joy!
Amen

Romans 12:3

Because of the privilege and authority God has given me, I give each of you this warning: Don’t think you are better than you really are. Be honest in your evaluation of yourselves, measuring yourselves by the faith God has given us.
Romans 12:3

Good Morning Jesus,
Have I told You lately just how much I enjoy watching Your nature? The delightful play of the animals and the beauty of Your flowers bring a smile to my face. Thank You.

Jesus, please help me to remember that I’m not any more special than the homeless person on the street. There are times I get this little bubble of delight and think how special I am to be called Your child. You love and cherish me, but not any more than the people I will see today. Please forgive me for such an arrogant attitude.

Each person in this world is just as special to You as I am. It is a wonderful privilege to be claimed as Your child, but it’s all those who don’t know You, that I should be more concerned with than myself. It’s my responsibility to introduce You to them, so they also can be called Your children.

Thank You, Jesus, for reminding me of my place this morning. I humble myself before You and ask for Your guidance for this day. Help me please, to look at the lost and see them through Your eyes. Please give me Your heart to minister to them.

I love You so very much Jesus!
Amen

Matthew 24:35

Heaven and earth will disappear, but My words will never disappear.
Matthew 24:35

Good Morning Jesus!
Thank You so much for the night’s rest. I was so tired all day yesterday and You knew just what I needed. You watched over me and kept my mind safe so I slept without dreams.

Your Word this morning is such a peace and strength for me. It doesn’t scare me to hear that some day all You have created will disappear. The day will come, and You only know when, that all that I see will be gone.

Yet, You will never disappear, because You are not dependent on anything that You created. You are my forever and always God and that gives me such security.

I don’t have the words to voice my gratitude or love, so I’m glad You know my heart, and know just how much I love You.

I will lift Your Name on high and rejoice throughout this day. Help me to think on You often and turn to You for my everyday needs. I want to become dependent on You. I want to know You more each day. Thank You for being my God!
Amen

Psalm 118:28-29

You are my God, and I will praise You! You are my God, and I will exalt You! Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! His faithful love endures forever.
Psalm 118:28 & 29

Good Morning Yahweh,
It was kind of hard to get out of bed this morning, but this is the day I will worship You with others. You gave me the strength and desire to spend some time with You before I enter into Your courts and lift Your name on high.

You are my God, I don’t remember ever having a time that I didn’t know You. Maybe not as I know You now, but it seems like I’ve always known You’ve been my LORD.

I know I have not always praised You, but I will praise You today and always. Most of all, I praise You for the gift of Your Spirit. By coming to know You, You have truly blessed me.

I want to lift Your name on high and exult You. As I worship today, help me please to remember that it’s all about You and nothing about me. However You will ask me to worship, I will give it my best, I want to please You.

You my, LORD, are so good. Even when I sin and need discipline, You are good. You have nothing but the best in store for me and You guide me through each day.

The most amazing thing about You, LORD, is You are forever. Your love and faithfulness are the same today as they were for Moses and will be for future generations. How secure You make me feel to know You don’t change.

Today I will stand in Your presence and be washed with Your joy and love!
Amen

1 John 1:7

But if we are living in the light, as God is in the light, then we have fellowship with each other, and the blood of Jesus, His Son, cleanses us from all sin
1 John 1:7

Morning Jesus,
Thank You so much for the sunshine this morning. We’ve been cloudy so much lately, and I thank You for the rain You have given Your creation. Yet, I am so attached to Your sun, that when I don’t see it in the mornings, I have a hard time waking up.

I often think of my spiritual life that way also. When I don’t wake up with Your Son, I don’t see and have a hard time navigating through my day.

For it is You who shines light into my life. I have the opportunity to live continually with You. How blessed I am.

You have also given me an amazing circle of friends, to fellowship and enjoy life together. I thank You for each one and I ask that You will bless them this morning. Please whisper to them of Your love and give them a hug.

Most of all, Jesus, I thank You for Your sacrifice on the cross. You gave Your life for me, so I can be here with You right now. Without Your blood, there would be no communion. I would be lost without You. Thank You so much for being my LORD and Savior, the lover of my life.
Amen

Psalm 90:2

Before the mountains were born, before You gave birth to the earth and the world, from beginning to end, You are God. For You, a thousand years are as a passing day, as brief as a few night hours.
Psalm 90:2

Good Morning My LORD,
How wonderful it is to be with You this morning. It hasn’t been an easy start of the day. There have been challenges with children, lunches to prepare and deadlines to meet. But, now I can sit and just be with You. Thank You for getting me to this place and time. Thank You for being my love.

Father, I praise You so very much for the grandeur of Your mountains. I am so blessed to live close to them and be able to visit their beauty. I am always amazed at their size and the stability. I love the pines You created, how they stretch to the sky, with their long, strong trunks. How restful to listen to the wind blow through their tops. The scent You gave the pines is such a delight to my nose, You are Wonderful.

I ask, Father, that You would help me to rest in this moment, knowing that time is not important.

As the day moves forward, please remind me to worship You in all my challenges, help me to see Your beauty in every moment.
I love You!
Amen
