Good Morning My Sweet LORD,
Your presence in my life is becoming so special and important. I am so thankful that You have called me to be Your child and that these moments have become a lifeline for me. I love You so much!
Jesus, it’s been crazy these past few weeks. I wanted so much to slow down and make Christmas a really special time for You, not only for my family and friends.
You know I haven’t been successful with my plan. I’ve been cramming activities into time when the time hasn’t been available. I’ve spent evenings trying to catch up with household needs instead of just being with You. I don’t feel I’ve made it a special time and my family and friends have suffered also.
Even though there are only a few days left before we celebrate Your birth, LORD, I can start this morning to honor You. I want to call on You today to make wise choices. Remind me please, to pause through the day and tell You, I love You. Open my eyes that I may see Your glory in those around me. Hold me close, Jesus, I need to hear Your heart beat and know You are close.
Before the rush of the day begins, Jesus, I will sit here and just know that You are my God.
