Let Your unfailing love surround us, Lord, for our hope is in You alone.
Psalm 33:22
Good Morning Father!
You are my wonderful LORD and Savior. I feel like my praise is so feeble to describe Your greatness. I fail miserably to proclaim Your wonder and glory. I am so grateful that You know my heart and just how much I love You!
I know, Father, that Your love surrounds me all the time. Even in the worst of times, You remind me I am loved and valued by You.
My life seems so out of control right now LORD. I rush here and there. I’m not getting all the things done I need to, and getting grumpy in the mean time. Please forgive and show me where to cut back, slow me down so I can just be with You. I need to be spending more time with You and less time stressing. You are my hope, not only for the rest of the day, but for my future. I don’t where it’s going, but You do and I praise You for having nothing but the best in store for me, even when it doesn’t look like it. I will trust You today Father. I will seek You in all I do and shout Your love to the world!
Amen
Carol,
I just have to share with you that you have a friend that has a weird bend in her sense of humor. I raced through yesterday’s prayer before heading out to Bible study. Something struck me funny and so I looked at it again today. You talked about being so busy and in the “mean time” it made you grumpy. Well again today the term “mean” time took a different meaning for me and I thought about being grumpy and when we are, we’re in our “mean” time, our grumpy time! It probably doesn’t make sense to anyone but me, but I’ve enjoyed the play on words.
Pray for the people in California. Carol Fiore has a son that had to evacuate his home. Laura Ward in our small group has a grandson who had a good friend killed in the shooting and his family has also had to evacuate. Then Brad Monroe wrote about a seminary class mate of Laura’s has been affected by both the shooting and the fire. All of which is getting heavy on my heart!
Love ya,
Susie
